Anyone into bow hunting?

I just upgrade my bow from a Bear Strike (2011) to a Bowtech Assassin (2013). Bow season opens today and I'm exicited. I went hunting a lot with it last year with no luck, didn't see anything until modern gun opened up. I upgraded because I was able to sell my old one for just under what I paid for it to a friend who wants to go with me and heard so many good things about the Assassin.

I want to hear stories from anyone else who bow hunts?
