How to Buy Accounts Safely?

Trying to think of some ways that will make it near-impossible to be scammed out of an account. Anyone know any ways to make account buying near-impossible to recover, scam back, etc? (runescape/league of legends specifically)

 

Not sure about LoL accounts.

Runescape there's no way. The original owner can always recover.

 

As long as the original owner has the original ip, he wins.

 

What was said here ALWAYS applies. Also, don't ever think that just because someone gives you original details, passwords, ip etc. that the account will ever be fully yours.

There is always a risk when buying accounts.
Sad to say.
But just Watch out who it is.
Try to stick with people with high vouches.

 

I'm unsure about League of Legend's accounts, though I'd imagine they follow the same process and protocol Runescape does in regards to account recoveries. So to reiterate on what's already been posted, always ensure the person you're buying from has a fairly credible reputation at least and (preferably) a long-standing history in account sales to minimize the risk of the account being recovered. Original owners can nearly always recover their account(s) at will and it's unfortunately become a very common and easy method of scamming users these days. Recoveries are mostly based on IP/ISP/Geolocation information stored when registering the account in question coinciding with credible, sensitive information relating to purchases made on the account. Always take extreme precaution when purchasing from any user and ensure you understand all the risks associated with account purchases before buying.

 

If I ever bought an account, I'd be sure to bot on it. At least that way, I can get revenge.

 

But didn't recovery questions get removed and got replaced by email validation? If a particular e-mail adress has been registered for an account and you wan't to "recover"your account, the details get sent to the registered e-mail adress

 

Just because you buy an account doesn't mean it's getting recovered...

 

Accounts can always be recovered/locked but there are legit people too who really quitted and want to sell their accounts.

 

The original owner can recover their account if they want to about 95-100% of the time. Jagex is a bit too willing to give away account information or release emails or details if you can even provide just a few details. There are a few things like asking for old billing information, old ips, passwords etc. but note that at the end of the day if they want heir account back they will get it.

 

No matter how much information you have about the account, it would be of no use if the original owner tries to recover the account because Jagex is too reliant on the original owner's IP address. If they see the original owner's IP, the account will be locked and returned to him regardless of how much information you've put in or have.

 

RWT is usually smarter than account trading.
Yes, with RWT you can't directly buy levels, but your partner is going to have a tough time coming up with a story to convince the company they were scammed whereas with account trading they can just say you stole the account.

Runescape accounts are always recoverable. The original owner pretty much just has to send an email with the same IP and they'll get it back.

 

Its not safe and there is no way to be safe..

 

As others have said, the only way you can safely "purchase" an account is to create your own and have someone else train it to desired stats/questing. Or you can purchase from someone that is highly trusted, but I'd go with option 1.
