Soulsplit ban?

Can someone explain how Soulsplit knew what account this was and who to ban? :O

They must have a SS staff member lurking the forums here. Reported it back to his people and they went ahead and banned the account. Im sorry for your loss.

Right, I realize that's what happened... But I don't see how they knew what account it was with then name blocked out, and certain other things like quests, kills, etc.

 

I was banned with 200b+ on my account after I tried selling it irl.

 

Private server nerdos going ham.

 

They can look at the level a that are not 99and look through there logs and match the few skills you didn't block out. They can also check and match that with the game mode to narrow it down and if you provided a Skype they could resolve it and just trace your ip address. Not 100% sure but I've had this done before also. Most likely your ip address. The rest would be a lot of work. But it could be done.

 

Lots of private server staff lurk market forums just to ban people from their servers that are selling their gold/items/accounts, it's a really dumb process. You just have to take extra care into making sure you are protecting your account and not exposing your identity.

They just match some of your skills and then look at your Sythe IP:

If it all matches then they'll ban you. Easy enough

Yup staff from a lot of different RSPS browse here looking for players who RWT on their servers. Back luck man :\

 

I have seen several PS threads have members of the PS come and ban the accounts that they see on sythe. You have to be very anonymous in order to not get wiped.

 

If you are going to try to sell your account on here from a private server, make sure you are using a different ip on here, then you are on that private server. Otherwise they can just look at your Sythe ip and if it is the same as someone on their server they can just ban you.
