coming back to rs3.

Not right now. It in a month or so once I'm settled in my new house I'm thinking about coming back to rs3. First thing I will do is finish maxing my combat stats. I sold all my gold before I quit so I may buy about 100m or so to start back.

My approximate stats are

Attack: 75
Strength: 95
Defence: 70
Range: 75
Mage: 85
Prayer: 70

I will be maxing by hand so I want to know the most efficient way of training these and about how long you guys think it'll take to max?

Also what gear should I get for 100m? I will most likely max all combat first and try to earn some cash whole doing it.

 

Gear: Bandos/Guthans - Armadyl - Subjugation
Weapons: Godsword - Crystal Bow/Royal Crossbow - Abyssal Wand and Orb
Training Methods:
All: Slayer
Mage: Bursting/Barraging anyss

If you haven't been on in a while, you'll notice that a lot has changed.

As you have 100M, and based on your current combat stats, I'd recommend investing in bandos and chaotics at first.

Once you reach level 90 Attack you'll be able to wield Drygores (Level 90 Weaponry). They're amazing for training. As your defense level progresses you should also invest in armors such as Torva, and/or Malevolent.

As for training spots, many people find waterfiends to be an excellent resource for experience gains for all three combat styles. Other alternatives are: Frost Dragons (melee training), Glacors (mage training), and even slayer! The abyss is also known as an excellent alternative, yielding 500k+ exp/hr in either range and or mage. But, be prepared to use a bit of cash if you'd like to go on that route.

First off, welcome back.

As for your questions, WolfRS's suggestions are pretty much on point. The only thing I'd like to add is that you should do a bit of dungeoneering in order to pick up the bonecrusher. It's a pocket item that will automatically convert the bones from monsters you've killed into prayer exp. You only need 21 dungeoneering and 34k tokens (340k dungeoneering exp), so it shouldn't take too long to get if you don't already meet the requirements. Plus, you can get some combat xp while you dung!

Thanks everyone! And I have logged on recently but not had the time to play. And also I already have bonecrusher and chaotic rapier and longsword from before I left. Is slayer good moneu? I am also going to try to.be making money while I gain levels.

Slayer can be good money, but usually only at higher levels (75+), unless you get some lucky rare table drops. Regardless, it's an efficient and fun way to train your other skills up, so definitely do it.

 

He could try to train slayer too or go bossing, anyway gl in game.

Slayer is probably the best part of RS3 in my opinion. The variety makes combat so much more tolerable.

I also recommend when you get Slayer high enough to kill Airuts. A solid 2-3m an hour I've found.

 

I'd first recommend getting 99 mage by blood barraging in the abyss, should take you about 3 days. Then get 99 def the same would, should take maybe 5 days. AFK hellhounds for 200k xp per hr for att and str. If you want to make money at the same time, then just do slayer tasks while training.
