Maybe like these people pulled from google and various websites:
    http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/9618/3hourprog.png
    http://www.xolr.com/20140526052704941.png
    https://carbonhost.org/vpshosting.php
    http://www.powerbot.org/community/t...e▌♦run-rsbot-without-your-computer♦cheapest♦/

    I could go on.

All systems, VPS's or not, have graphics whether it be integrated or not. There wouldn't even be a command line visualization if they did not. Runescape has such low resources that it can -easily- play on VPS's.

Why Ubuntu? Compared to Cent, Arch and Debian the overhead is terrible, you want all you can get.

I was never familiar with centos. I know it's much better optimized for performance.

Scripts are down, I changed hosting. If anyone would like to donate a server for a few hours I'll rewrite the scripts.

Scripts are up and working again, and much more efficient than before. Guide needs to be updated as newer versions of things have been released. Will do that soon.

AIO Guide to botting on a Ubuntu VPS

I'm running into issues when setting up the VPS.

I setup the VPS on Ubuntu 14.04, as my provided did not have 13.00 series.

When executing your setup script, I ran into the issue of Java installer not being found, so I reinstalled the OS and added the source for Java and installed each item by hand, following the first tutorial. I edited the file as shown and the VPS starts, however the background is grey, but I can still use the menu ect.. When I try and click or do anything it says failed to allocate memory. The VPS load on the control panel shows that I have 800 mb ram free.

I restarted the VPS and now when I open any application VNCViewer quits, with no error message. I have to kill the VNC server and restart it to connect again (host refuses connection) and the same thing happens.

I've tried a couple of guides and cannot for the life of me get this to work.

I was wondering if you had any idea what could be causing this?

Yeah, I found that the repository that came default with the vps that I was using was preinstalled. I added in the necessary software and repositories to the script so it should work now.

AIO Guide to botting on a Ubuntu VPS

Having some issues, after running the shell scripts and installing everything I tried logging into the VNC it gave me an error message and no tab for applications. I then tried to go back to Putty but every time I try to log into putty I get an error message saying server unexpectedly lost network connection or if I get past that and type in root followed by my password I get an error saying can't execute application/shell script.
    All help is super appreciated!

Okay figured mostly everything out now the only thing I'm stuck at is opening my client, I download the client from the site (topbot) and tried to run, it only opens up as an archive with a bunch of folders but nothing I can click to actually run the client. At first I thought it was because I didn't have Java installed or something but when I installed java through putty and it doesn't seem the case. Sorry about all the bombardment of posts, appreciate any insight!

Depends entirely on the VPS specs and the usage of the individual bots/scripts.

I am looking for possible vps plans but I am wondering if using a 64bit or 32bit would be important for this setup since you are clearly using a 32-bit server and Im not sure if the files from xolr are 32bit dependent

    Thanks in advance

In the command line (Terminal) run:

    java -jar botname.jar

    --------------------------------------------

Anyways I'm having a problem with downloading the vpssetup.sh file.

It makes a twenty temporary redirects and nothing happens.

Would be really thankful for any help
