How secure is Skrill with chargebacks?

I have started selling gold 2 months ago. Every trade I did was through Paypal and I have always sold small quantities of Runescape 3 gold. I usually sell gold to trusted users to avoid chargeback and have lost a dispute once.

Now I would like to start selling gold in larger quantities, but I would like to avoid chargebacks. In order to sell it to non-trusted users,I was thinking about using Skrill, because I heard that chargebacks are not allowed with it.

Is it true? Should I prefer Skrill or Paypal?

    Thank you :)

Skrill chargebacks are possible but unlikely, in ~1.5 years of selling gp we've had only 4 or 5 Skrill disputes I believe

Thank you very much for your reply! I was wondering, why are chargebacks less frequent with Skrill? And did you manage to win the chargebacks you received?

Skrill is much less likely to get chargedback compared to PayPal. The safest way for transactions would be bank transfer/WU/moneypak.

I have always used Paypal because it is the most common but decided to start using Skrill because it seems to me very common too. Never heard about Moneypak, should I accept it aswell? I mean, how often do you do transactions with it?

I would like to know it too, since I am about to sell to a user who contacted me on Skype but has not even a Sythe account. I am not a massive reseller, so even a single chargeback would mean much to me.

I think its because skrill is more relaxed with virtual goods than ebay and has a more indepth and fair dispute system. not 100% sure tho.

paypal is meant more for physical trades for example a chair or ipod, or ipad.

Skrill is meant more for Virtual goods - poker, casino money, server hosts etc...

Those are the main differences between these two companies...
