Minecraft Is dead.

First off I hope this wont get any immature comments, I'm just expressing my opinion on what's going on.

Mojang,
As everyone heard Mojang was sold to Microsoft. Most people
thought Mojang just sold minecraft to them. Whats your thoughts
on this? Honestly I think Mojang shouldn't of sold there company.
Minecraft was perfect a year ago before "Notch" left them. 2.5B?

Bukkit,
Bukkit is litteraly D-E-A-D. Now were all forced to switch to spigot or
keep using 1.7.10 Bukkit version. It all started with the flaming between
Mojang and the old Bukkit developers on twitter. It officially got to the point
where someone filed a DMCA claim against them on craft bukkit. Read all about

Minecraft use to be a fun game for everyone with no issues. The problems started
when everyone got money hungry and started doing these vast updates without

Come to think of it, I never really hear Minecraft being mentioned by anyone I know anymore.

Back in the day, I used to see so many people talking about it daily, but it seems like that has totally vanished into thin air. It's definitely not the game it used to be.

Yeah I remember when Sky and other Big YT users used to have alot of views/subs, now they are growing at a very small rate :/ First Runescape, then minecraft, I am thinking League is next due to community.

 

It seems to be dead already as Mojang got sold to Microsoft. Was expecting it to die after Microsoft's release

 

It's really moved towards being a kids game. I know a whole lot of 5-12 year olds that play it a whole bunch.

 

I think that minecraft has come to its end also, not only because only kids play it but just because it's not that "interesting" as it was like few months ago. Never played it and I never will play that shit game.

 

I really enjoy it in bursts.

 

Whats really enjoyable of that game? I mean it comes to the fucking same shit always. It's not a skill based game. It's just a game which was designed with a purpose, which was to attract the attention of the kids and sell this like candy. I even realized that you need to pay in order to play this game, i couldn't really laugh more.

 

It wasn't designed for kids. It was a fun project that Notch had. Have some creativity and you'll have a lot of fun. Play with some friends and you'll have fun. Tony and I play together while on a voice call and it's fun. There's plenty to do.

 

How come then that more of the 70% of the people who play it are all -18 or even -16? This was made for kids regardless what you think. I mean just type in youtube MINECRAFT and you'll find a new door to a big dimension.

 

It's going to be a very classic game that young gamers will play for awhile I'm sure. Minecraft itself doesn't really "Die", there are enough mods and ways to play that there is limitless gameplay. I would assume that the game has become less popular, but overall, Minecraft will be one of the defining games of our generation.

 

No. It was not made for kids. As I already said it was made as a fun project by Notch. He did not intend for it to be for kids. It just happens to be a good game for kids. That's a massive and pretty obvious difference. Please try to think a bit harder before you talk.

 

Alright so he made it for people who are already 50 years old. Btw I am not talking, I am typing, which are two completely different things. You can't argue with me if you think x and I think y because you are not me and I think whatever I want about anything that I want. If you think it's not made for kids then good, but don't pretend that all will think that way just because you think its like that. With all this said good job if you have fun, but people like me don't think it's fun or "it's a game made for adults". I mean you could have said that it's for all kind of ages but you didn't, that's why I don't understand why you get so pissed when I don't share your opinion.
