Colts completely collapsed there. Nice comeback by the Eagles but Colts playcalling was really WTF once they were in fg range to go up 10 with 5 and change to play. Luck throws an INT and it all goes downhill from there. Get the ball back tied up and playcalling gets conservative.

That's why I never really take the Colts all that seriously. They've got talent but they lock up in the tight situations. I consider Luck a 2nd tier qb right now. He's had some nice comebacks but he's also locked up in pressure moments.

That's a big loss for the Colts.

Another great comeback from the eagles, however their inconsistency in the first half needs to be fixed. Overall good win and hoping to see another against the redskins next week

Hate seeing my Colts be so dysfunctional. They really need to get their act together...and quick.

Vereen the 3DRB has been stout averaging around 6 YPC but our outside receivers Thompkins and Dobson in particular that many said could break out this year haven't done much so far although Thompkins is now out with an injury and Dobson is only just returning. Gronk still only slowly being worked in which isn't exactly a bad thing.

Amendola & Lafell have been disappointing definitely however. Remember when Amendola was going to be the next Welker? I'm thinking he'll be dropped at the end of the season.

Currently would you say the better QB of the class is Wilson or Luck?

Patriots currently #1 pass defense in the league, legion of boom who? Browner still to come off suspension too.

If the Eagles play even a half like they did Monday night, they will get creamed by a confident Kirk Cousins. Cousins single handedly won that game for the Redskins after Griffin left due to an ankle injury. RG3 could be talk of the past after this season.

0-2 colts sounds nice to me.. Has a sweet ring to it.

This is why Luck was never a serious contender in the playoffs. He relies to much on very lucky plays late in the game. He either starts solid and blows a big lead or starts shaky and starts to complete 20+ yard passes every other play. One of the reasons for this is because colts play calling is 100% situational. This is good because you know you always have the best fit play for the scenario, but it also makes your offense predictable as hell. (Kubiak with the Texans used to do this all the time, and then he was fired after Matt "Pick 6" Schaub and him couldn't wrap their head around new playcalls"). Another problem with Luck is he has a tendency to cry wolf when it comes to blitz's. If he even thinks theres a one in one hundred chance of a zone blitz, he'll immediately try and curve out of the pocket and complete a pass, when really he is letting the defense read his positioning and allowing the Defensive Backs to pinpoint his passes.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is currently #2 in yrds per attempt. This is amazing seeing as the Texans are a predominantly running team as of now. This means when we throw, we get yards, baby!! As for Bill O'Brien, I am now in love. His play calling reflects the smart side of Kubiak back when he was an offensive coordinator for the Broncos. Not only does he have that, he has the willingness to gamble on his instincts, similar to a Rex Ryan or Ron Rivera.

As for the patriots. Their O-line was still shaky, but nowhere (I mean NOWHERE) near as bad as week 1. It seemed to good to be true that the pats would go 0-2. Especially if it meant losing to the Vikings without Adrian Peterson.

Overall, I think the Texans will win the Superbowl.

I'm going to have to give week 3 to the Eagles, in my opinion Kirk Cousins doesn't have much experience on the field, and playing against the jaguars is a joke (yeah, ill agree that jags suck now). Jags defense is all over the place, and their offense couldn't go anywhere. I'm predicting that Eagles will win by a long run.

Yeah I don't see the Redskins doing much against the Eagles at all. Eagles have played shit ball for large periods of their games and still are 2-0.. I expect a good COMPLETE game out of them for a comfortable win over Washington.

Oh and @Jack - Wilson > Luck (Both are overrated, however)

I agree Wilson > Luck but there is no way Wilson is overrated. Luck is.

Obviously Wilson didn't win the superbowl by himself, but he played constantly well and made smart decisions game after game. He's elite in my mind.

Wilson is overrated in my opinion, the great plays that he seems to make are all trick plays used from the Seahawks head coach. I think that the Seahawks in general make him look good (the o-line, strong run offense, and the tricky tricky playblook)

I'd say he's a little bit overrated as well. Definitely stout though.

What's so tricky about their playbook? What kind of system are they based from?

Not sure what you mean about the system but they do a lot of play action, WR sweeps, and their formation of WRs in general are different from other teams in the NFL, which usually leaves one guy uncovered due to miscommunication. If you watched the Seahawks v Packers game in Week 1, you could see the tricks against Packers defense, which absolutely murdered them

Wilson won a SB and was pretty good, but Flacco did the same thing. I wouldn't consider either elite yet. Does not mean they can't become elite, but we'll have to see.

People question if Eli Manning's elite and he's won twice!

Eli Manning is a Manning lol. All Mannings come from a line of elite quarterbacks

I think Eli was elite before, but I don't think its possible for him to become elite again unless they upgrade their o-line, learn to protect their QB, and increase their run offense.

Misunderstood what you were talking about, thought you were mentioning the complexity of the playbook - no clue why I came to that conclusion though.

pls go Eli Manning is average, each time they won their defense carried them and they simply got hot in the playoffs

Praise the Oracle Eli Manning #10

Eli I think is the most sacked quarterback in the NFL, while his brother Peyton with that crazy o-line barely gets sacked (more time in the pocket=bigger plays). If Eli Manning had a better o-line, I think he would be in the top 10 QBs

2014-2015 Season will not be his year

Average is being nice. In the Giants case, the QB did barely anything. At least wilson FITS in the seahawks playcalling methods. AHAHAH

Tannehill was the most sacked QB last year by far at 58. Eli was only the 11th most sacked at 39. While obviously not ideal it isn't all on the OL that is responsible for his 69.4 QBR last year. So far he's on track to repeat this year, 69.2 through 2 games. If that's not mediocre I don't know what is.

    In other news:
Chandler Jones won AFC Defensive Player of the Week (8 Tackles, 2 Sacks, 1 Blocked FG returned for a TD)

Jonathan Dwyer being questioned for domestic abuse, what's everybody's problem recently? Runningbacks in particular seem to be in the spotlight.

Whoa, barely anything? That's a bit harsh. Eli played very well in both wins over the Packers his 2 sb runs. 2 Packers teams with considerably more talent than the Giants in my opinion (especially the 2nd time, when the Packers were 15-1 and decided to play their worst game of the season). Eli was good at utilizing match-ups. He knew nobody on the 1st SB team could handle Plaxico Burress, and he knew nobody on the 2nd SB team could handle Victor Cruz. He utilized match-ups well and when it came down to it he out-poised Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers. You can't be THAT bad if you can do that.
