Constantly getting scammed

Played rs for about 10 years and I still keep getting myself scammed by trying to outsmart the scammers, what an idiot, lost 30m in two scams in a week, gonna give up trying to get the upper hand on them!

 

Sorry to hear that, man. It's something that happens to everybody -- don't put too much importance on it. As long as you quit looking for them and keep your wits about you, you should be fine.

 

Try to not put Runescape pixels on a pedestal. This might prevent you from doing dumb things just to gain a few golden pieces.

Stop being narcissistic and then you won't lose your money

 

Never give your money to others - simple rule which will help a lot...

 

In most scams/lures, part of their scam/lure is for you to try to outsmart them because they know certain things that you may not which would end up in you losing your items/cash. Don't trust anyone.

 

^Never trust anyone, unless you have known them for years, or know them IRL. The game is full of kids who are: Gold Pixels > Friends

 

If you lose out from trying to outsmart others then they probably want you to try and outsmart them, like when a lurer tries to make you think that you know what they are doing so you can fall for their other trap. If you have to risk your money dont do it unless you know they are trusted or know them irl.
