You act as if a good amount of PROFESSIONAL teams have no talent in the NFL. Just because a team has done bad before, does not mean they will do bad again. It's a whole new season, anything can happen.

As for the game tonight, was disappointing to see the Steelers getting crushed by the Ravens, but Bell got a good amount of yardage which makes me happy in my fantasy league. Steelers need to improve their defense and stop their turnovers.

Good amount? Many would agree the Redskins and Jaguars are bad teams. The Redskins are decent at rebuilding. The Jaguars have almost ALWAYS been abysmal.

If you want to refute my claim of either team being absolute shit, feel free to try.

Hate to break it to you also, but there are a lot of teams with minimal talent. They don't draft well and they don't do well in free agency because they have minimal money and nobody wants to play there.

But please, let me know the last good Jacksonville team.

Redskins have a potentially strong offense with RG3, Garcon, DJax, and Morris. These teams/players are getting paid to play professional football, so I doubt because a team that because a team has a bad record they are unable to get anyone from the FA. Jacksonville has always been a decent team with MJD. I'll admit that the Jags are not doing well, but saying they were "almost always" bad, is a false claim. And if you can, name 10 teams with minimal talent if you consider that a lot.

Jacksonville has not been a decent team with MJD though...since 2006 when he joined they have made the playoffs 2 times. He is also not a Jaguar anymore. And Blackmon is suspended. They have next to no talent on the team right now, at least not proven talent. And yeah, they have almost always been bad. Go look through their schedule year by year. They are a perennially weak team. They had a brief bright spot with Leftwich and Gerrard, but nothing too crazy.

As for the Redskins, yawn. RG3 has been hype since his first year. Garcon and Djax and Morris are good sure, but what about that defense? One of the worst in the NFL.

I don't really see what's wrong with saying teams are bad. Yeah, it's a new year, but they haven't given anyone any reason to think they've improved. Redskins got dominated by Houston and Jacksonville literally looked incapable of scoring on a normal, non turnover caused drive.

Out of their 19 seasons in the league they've won 10 games or more only 5 times. Not exactly a dynasty.

You're wrong about the FA too, while bad teams are able to lure great players to their team they usually have to overpay them since a lot of veterans are looking to win superbowls, the money compensates for that. Overpaying these veterans ultimately hamstrings them and they don't have enough money to spend elsewhere.

Not only that, but these veterans are normally only a product of their system. Greg Jennings is a HUGE example.

Nothing wrong with saying a team is bad, but in my opinion the first game doesn't always show true potential. All players are still learning to play with new teammates and adjusting to new regulations/rules, plus they have to get a feel of an actual game for the first time in half a year+. Nothing wrong with saying teams are bad, I just think its too soon to judge in my opinion.

I respect your opinion, but I think you misinterpreted me. I'm not basing the opinion I think they're bad just off of this year, but recent history. If they prove me wrong this year, I'll eat my crow and admit I was dead wrong.

AP indicted for child abuse. If he's out even if the Patriots aren't yet in regular season form should be an easy win.

So is AP gonna get kicked off his team too or does there have to be video evidence of him beating children? Or is he gonna walk because he's AP?

This looks really bad for AP, especially after the case with Rice. People are going to want to see a harsh punishment for AP since it's really sensitive at the moment. Even if Adrian Peterson is arguably the best RB currently, I don't think he could walk away with this one.

I think I have to give win of the day to the Chicago Bears.

0-8 since 1987 playing at San Francisco, ended the streak tonight. Definitely benefited from a very error-prone Kaepernick, but a win is a win.

Good bounce back after a tough loss to Buffalo in OT.

I can't believe I benched Marshall for Malcom Floyd (who caught 0 passes) because fantasy experts said there was a 75% chance he wouldn't play! Ended up losing the game to that but oh well, terrific preformance by Marshall and Bears

By the way, was this like Hell week for the NFL? Probably over 5 top ranked players got injured (I'm thinking near 10)

Yeah it was nuts. At least we got a lot of good games. Packers-Jets was good. Seahawks-Chargers was good.

    Plenty of other good ones.

Hopefully every sunday continues to be like this.

Patriots 2nd game was day and night to their first. Still look like the offense isn't quite there but the defense was looking stout with them sorting their scheme. Chandler Jones in particular showed up large with them actually sticking him on the edge instead of the inside and it paid off.

AP cleared to play next game too.

Patriots definitely needs more options on offense, seems like the 2 big players were Edelman and Ridley.

As for AP, thats really hypocritical to let him play next week and ban ray rice. Seems more like corruption to me
