Damage soaking

Is damage soaking equipment overpowered and not necessary for the game?

This is referenced at the installment of spirit shields, specifically elysian and divine.

 

I don't see the need for them but it's new content which is what the game needs once in awhile.

I wish they'd make something different, something RS3 doesn't have.

 

The game NEEDS new high end content or there will be nothing to do. GWD was the equivalent update last year and Corp + maybe another boss similar to TDS could be this years high end content.

 

I really want to see them bring in some bosses/quests that weren't in RS3, make something new to 07.

 

Agreed. 07 is already basically a Pseudo-07, no harm in making badass content like that.

 

Those four shields are actually fairly balanced content. As for "soaking" on all main armour pieces, hell no, that was such an ineffective update.
