FPS and so on...

Well so i've got a shitty pc with a 520MX GC and it can barely handle the csgo low settings (roughly 60-80) and even it gets to 40-50~ and my game starts to lag out idk how to explain it but it's like spikes of lag and the game froze for 0,5 seconds. It's really weird but whoever had this kind of problems would know what I am talking about. I wanted to see if there's a program or way to increase the FPS for like 15 or so, idk if installing something would be the right/appropriated thing but i'm willing to do so.
I've already lowered all I could on the csgo settings.
I've already tried installing GAME BOOSTER but it gave me liiiiittle frame rate.
I just don't want the fps to go lower than 60, that's what I am asking for.

 

best option is to buy a new pc.

I don't even know what to say about this. I know that I need a new pc to play the game and have a better frame rate? I said that if there's something like a explicit cfg or some sort of settings whose would allow me to have a higher frame rate.

 

This is a problem that most downloadable programs simply cannot fix.

For minor improvements I'd suggest defragging your hard drive, cleaning out old junk files, etc. There are a multitude of programs for this.

For some noticeable improvements I'd suggest upgrading your graphics card or maybe even upgrading your PC altogether.

 

I know that my PC is kinda sucky but still I don't want to spend money when I got this computer working and doing great ( considering I bought it 3 years ago ) it still works perfectly and can handle csgo low settings but when it overheats it turns into a shit machine where the fps drop dramatically but anyways. I'll try and figure out that fragmentation shit and see if it does work.

 

The MX series, if I'm not mistaken is the "Mobile" series. It is going to be embedded in a laptop.

CSGO does have some minor FPS booster configs and you can try minimizing your external items that are running to maximize focus on the game. This guy seems to have a rather good grasp on boosting in-game FPS. Check it out and let me know if it helps.

From your most recent post: If your problem is heat on the unit get a laptop cooler to try and cool everything off - GPUs in laptops tend to get hot. When they get hot, you are going to get those FPS drops and possibly some artifacting.

 

Already did all of this, kinda "helped" me but that's from soo many damn threads that i've seen so far. An improvement was indeed seen but as I said i've lowered all and yes, now i've got like 70+ fps if my PC doesn't overheat ( it tend to overheat whenever i see videos or just play so much ) like 2-3 hours of playing/seeing videos. And indeed it drops so dramatically when it overheats, it's understandable since this computer wasn't made for gaming but looking at the fps that i have I must say that it's worth the $400 that i've paid for it 3 years ago. Tried that "Razer Game Booster" but I didn't even see shit with that program so I would say that program is just shit. Will try it after and corroborate my statement. But since the beginning, I didn't even see a change neither did I see a 5+ fps change...

 

If you could "boost" FPS on shitty PCs then everyone would buy terrible ones and add mods to them. You can't. Simple solution: Buy a new and better one.

I didn't ask for something unreal to get but I did ask for some "low impulse" of fps. I am not an idiot to not think that I need a new pc to be able to play it with a good resolution and so on. Anyways, this thread can be closed.
