A few questions regarding 07 botting..

Hi guys.

I haven't played RuneScape in over a year. I have a level 3 account on 07 which has 99 fletching and 80 herblore (both done legitimately) and a few other non essential stats.

Before I stopped playing, botting was quite easy to get away with. I have a few questions regarding how easy it is to get away with now..

1) On the TriBot forums there have been a few threads about people being banned 15 minutes after account creation. Is this just because the accounts are new?

2) Can RuneScape detect 'injections' from the TriBot client or any other?

3) How likely would it be to get banned babysitting a bot? The maximum I would be botting on it would be for 2 hours at a time with a break inbetween.

I'll try to answer these questions for you. However, I will start by saying that you're going to have troubles botting for anything so some of the variables are quite random and hard to decipher.

1) Having a new account can factor into it and what skills they are botting. It also depends on their techiniques, script, and breaks, etc.

2) No they can't. (As far as I'm concerned.)

3) It's just as high without babysitting. Just cause you're sitting there at the computer doesn't make it any less likely to happen. Jagex doesn't see "Oh, he was sitting at the computer...he's okay." You run the risk with any amount of time but you want to bot like how someone would play.

In response to the last question, the ban rate when babysitting is definitely lower as you can respond to questions etc and there is no chance of your bot messing up (and making your botting even more obvious!) as you can just reset it.

Do you think I'd be better off downloading a mouse recorder rather than using a bot?

 

The first part of your post is false. Babysitting does not help in preventing bans. I know this from experience. Jagex doesn't need to just look at your bot's fuck ups, they have plenty of tools that will catch you even before your bot fucks up, and with the bots currently available, there's nothing you can do about it.

Also, mouse recorders are not any safer than an actual bot. In fact it's probably even worse.

 

Really won't help much to babysit. Might help if you get it out of a spot that it may be stuck in...but that's a shitty bot (in my opinion) if it's getting stuck a lot and having to babysit.

Do not use a mouse recorder. Better off with a bot.

 

The ban rate is incredibly high and you will be risking that account
