How did your first season of league go?

Hey guys I am rounding out my first season of league and can tell the major steps foreward I have taken in my gameplay. Although I am not a great player yet, i am a solid player who is continuing to get better. I started bronze II, quickly went down to bronze V and spent a good while in that division. I have worked my way up to silver I and am trying to hit gold beore the season ends.

I am curious to hear your stories about how your first season of league went

 

placements 7-3 - silver 3 - dropped silver 5 - climbed and ended season at gold 4

 

My first season was in actual season 1. I started playing ranked as soon as I hit 30, duoing with another friend who was in the same boat as me. We didn't have much of an idea about anything. We both played 1-2 champs from lvl 1-30, and had no clue about trading, mechanics, what an ADC was, why itwas needed etc.

One thing I'll always remember is that I always thought we had to keep pushing whichever lane to the enemy tower. I thought jungling was bad, and that it was pointless. Good times haha.

Anyway, If I remember correctly, I was around 980 ELO. There were no divisions, or tiers, or anything. - The game was being discovered each day. Champ matchups, playstyles, metas, etc. So really, everyone was experimenting.

 

I started mid-late season 3, and pretty much did ranked immediately after level 30. Went 5-5 and placed into silver 5. Was pretty much stuck in silver for the rest of the season, and managed to hit gold 5 during pre-season 4.

 

I started in beta but I didn't think I was actually going to play so made stupid acc name and pass which I forgot, started playing for real though early season one got to level thirty in the spring of season one and played from there, I played every champion I could buy and had a great time! the game was far less toxic in my experiance. I played like 10 ranked games cause I sucked ha. I learned from my cousin though, he was near the top NA season one. Most played champs back in the day: ali, nunu, ashe and kennen. Also loved to play tf till his e became his ult ha. Also morde was really fun back then

This year was my first time and I am actually getting better everytime as an adc

 

just started a few months back.

went 6/4 promos. placed silver 4. climbed to silver 3 and back to silver 4. working my way up now though. Trying to hit gold 5 before the season ends.

 

Bronze 5 to silver 4

 

I didn't play any 5v5 s1, exclusively 3v3, but I went from 1100-1900 s2.

 

I started playing a few months before Season 3 came to a close. I hit 30 quite fast, bought a bunch of xp. boosts. I went 4-6 in the placement matches and ended up in Bronze 4. I struggled and struggled to Bronze 1. I made 3-4 attempts at promos to Silver and lost every time. A good friend of mine Duo'd with me until Silver.

I gained confidence and focused more on Solo Q and now i'm Plat 5.

 

Started Season 1, used to be a much more enjoyable game.

 

I didn't really play ranks much in Season 1 aside from enough to get Judgement Kayle, I kind of regret not working on getting Victorious J4 though -_-

Oh well, it doesn't really mater much though, it's just interesting to see how the meta changes as time passes
