Tips on how to get better?

Well I need some tips on how to get better ok so my cs farm 10 minutes is like 70-80 max and I can't get further.
I'm stuck in bronze because I was inactive for about 4 months dropped from silver 1 which i still don't get how.
What champion to use or what to do to carry hard from bronze?

I know you're going to say like "Well don't blame others" and I don't every game I look at why did I do so bad and learn from it but I'm getting some really bad match ups with people who just say "mid or afk" or "Top or feed".

 

Your cs is fine, don't worry about that. I sometimes have less than that in mid diamond.

The games where people afk etc. are inevitable. Try to win the 4v5 and if you don't, life is life.

The only advice I can give you is to find someone you are good at you don't mind playing a lot. Spam that champion. You could probably get out of bronze with Urgot if you were good at him. That being said champs like Talon and other assassins are good for carrying.

Focus on objective control. Towers are more important than barons, towers are more important than kills. Push your wave to turret whenever you leave lane. ROAM even if you're top or bot and help your team secure kills and towers. If no one else is good enough at this stuff it should be you doing all of the work.

 

Basically what Sypherz said. I personally find playing strong mid champs with good duel and roam potential are great for carrying your team and changing the pace of the game. Champs such as, Katarina, Oriana, Syndra, Talon, Zed, Fizz etc.

 

Your CS is good, i like to play mid assassins that have high potential to carry ,eg zed and fizz, or pick up a good partner and premade bot lane?

I'm trying to improve my cs but its really hard...
Yeah I try my best to help my team but currently having the problem that once we are in a good lead it just spirals out of control like last game I was doing everything in my power to get to the nexus and secure kills and we where 35/20 and my team just kept on running at them head on without grouping up or anything.

How do i prevent this from happening ? is it even possible to do that ?

 

When I was bronce I always concentrate on kills and myself, so here is my recommendation for you focus on the general objectives and try to help your team without arguing with them.

Play good carrying champs. (roaming and aggresive mids, aggressive junglers)
Shut the fuck up. (Don't talk shit to everyone, save that to the end)
Read guides
Remember dragon exists!

Forget about your cs. Having 10 more early game won't magically make you win.

When it comes down to it "try your best" wasn't good enough. You have to improve if you can't carry in low divisions, and blaming other people won't get you there.

 

Don't talk shit to your teammates, it only makes them do worse.

Try to be the captain and lead your team to victory.

Help lanes, don't feed, push your lane, towers are important. They try to push mid hard, get 2-3 people to defend, while two people split top and bot, it'll take pressure off mid and possibly get a turret.

Objectives = how you win, so don't forget about them. This isn't TDM.

I guess it really comes down to experience, if you aren't innately skilled then whatever you lack will probably be made up for just by playing enough games.

Probably similar to what others have already said:

First, watch streamers in high elos and try to understand why they do what they do. There are even some streamers who go out of their way to explain why they do certain things to help the viewers improve.

Second, in game, focus on map awareness. Regardless of what role you are, always have an idea of where the enemy jungler/missing laners are. Of course, wards are super useful for this.

Watch streams, play a small pool of champions, play one or two roles.

Precision and focus on the same thing (i.e playing Pantheon top every game you can) makes your play more potent. You'll learn match ups and generally be better than someone with a massive champion pool at your rank.

 

This is pretty bad advice IMO. If you're going to learn 1 champion, probably do it in normals and get VERY comfortable with the selected champ, or learn an someone who is a safe pick. There's nothing worse than someone first picking their preferred champion then getting counter picked and shat on in lane as a result.

 

The problem is you're looking for a quantifiable solution to improve, when in fact there is no secret to getting better at League of Legends. Every game of league is different and the only way to improve is to play a lot. In the higher diamond echelons mechanical difference between players is minimal and is rarely the reason for someone being better. The reason people are better is usually due to their decisiveness and strong map control. So if you want to improve I would suggest you play a lot with someone that you get along with to develop a synergy. Practice aggressive map control and be decisive with every decision you make in league.
