I don't really like chillstep or slow songs when working out.

I usually listen to melodic dubstep/hard house or euphoric/melodic hardstyle but I have recently found myself listening to a lot of alt and classic rock (my fav genre) while working out.

Not going to lie though, I still love chillstep. As long as its melodic or progressive I'll probably enjoy it. One of the reasons I hate the newer trap and almost all hip/hop and rap is that there is no melody and the lyrics, if any, are shit.

Most Rock Lyrics = No Lyrics > Shit about bitches, guns, and money

Yeah I find classic rock really gets me in the mood to work out aswell but I also listen to a lot of old school rap to get pumped up and ready to that one last rep

But some days when I go into the gym early morning and I'm farely sleep chill music kinda gets me through the workout while still putting in the effort

YouTube channels such as 'TheSoundYouNeed' and 'Majestic Casual' have great chill music to listen to!
