We've been working on exciting updates as well as bug fixes lately, some mentionable future updates include...


- Progress has begun on the Halloween 2014 event. Look out for it within the next couple of weeks.
- Our plan to expand the map by utilizing more cities is also well underway, it's a fairly large project so a lot of time is needed to finish it.

Introduction:

Hello there, Adventurer! Looks like you've stumbled upon the wonderful server known as "CreativeScape." This isn't your ordinary Runescape Private Server. CreativeScape is dedicated to bringing you back to that incredible time period that we all fell in love with, Old School Runescape. Our main objective is to make sure the player enjoys his/herself thoroughly, so we spend hours upon hours on perfecting that old school feeling we all love so much, with a hint of creativity, hence the name "Creative"Scape. Below you'll be able to enrich your mind with the incredible history behind this wonderful server, as well as some of the best features of it. We hope you continue reading onward, because we know you won't regret it!

History:

CreativeScape originally began its journey in April 2008, following it's creation by R0cky 0wnz. Since then, we've moved through the years delving into many different versions, such as CreativeScape Classic, Vexillum, CreativeScape V1 and CreativeScape V2. We are currently moving through V3, which has been running since December 2012. Here we've sat on the throne of private server royalty, remaining one of the #1 Old School Runescape private servers of ALL TIME.


Our MANY Features:

- A fun, loving, happy community of 300+, where anyone can fit in and make TONS of friends!

- An incredibly well balanced economy, with prices that aren't too easy to reach, yet they aren't too hard either.

Hey everyone, our most recent bug fixes as well as minor updates include the following:

• Fixed issues with new boxing gloves (stacking, second trade window name).
• Added rapid heal and rapid restore (rapid heal does not work with 200m XP effect).
• 15 minute logout timer should be fixed.
• Removed turning prayer on if you have 0 HP.
• Fixed a bug with crafting with hides.
• Fixed issues with slayer tasks.
• Fixed issues with energy going over 100%.
• Fixed issues with HighScores putting XP over the 200m cap.
• Fixed Vengeance kills not giving the player the drop when it's a double KO.
• Fixed firelighters giving the wrong log colour. Also fixed cooking on white/purple fires.
• Sara brews have been fixed to give the correct def bonus.
• Super restores now restore the same amount as a prayer potion.
• The diamond necklace is no longer invisible in your inventory.
• Players on your ignore list will now no longer show up in yell.
• Users that have the owner rank in a clan chat can now unban people from the chat.

We've added a new barrows reward today available from the barrows chest, called the barrows trunk. Upon gaining it as a reward and opening it, you'll be given a choice of 3 barrows items to choose from. The one you pick will be the one you are awarded. The barrows trunk is untradeable and is the most rare reward from the barrows chest.

The Halloween event 2014 has been removed from the game. We hope you enjoyed it. :happy:

Greetings.

Today brings a elemental battlestaves, changes to the banking system, changes to the teleport menu and various other things.


Elemental Battlestaves

You are now able to create elemental battlestaves to gain some nice Magic and Crafting XP. The process from start to finish is more or less the same as RuneScape but collecting the resources is different.

Creating Unpowered Orbs

For those who don't already know, you'll need a bucket of sand and soda ash. You can fill sand into a normal bucket going to the sandpit located at the farming area and filling them up.
The soda ash can be made by cooking seaweed, which can be obtained by picking them up around Catherby and Karamja.

Once those have been collected, use each on a furnace to create molten glass. This can then be used with a glassblowing pipe (purchased from the General store) to create unpowered orbs.

Creating unpowered orbs requires a Crafting level of 52.

Collecting battlestaves

Normal battlestaves can be purchased from the Magic shop at home.

Refer to the table below for more information on enchanting the orbs.



You can then use each enchanted orb with a normal battlestaff to create the elemental battlestaff along with earning some Crafting XP.


Interface Changes

We've made some major changes to the teleport menu interface in this update. All of emote tab teleports prior to this update have been removed from the emote tab and moved over into a new tab located in the bottom right corner of the gameframe. You'll be able to see everything at a glance still just like the emote tab without needing to scroll down.
Doing this allowed us to implement all emotes into the emote tab and have updated the interface accordingly for everybody to use.

Secondly, we've made a change to the Player Options menu. Some of the features in there tended to be pointless and didn't have much use, such as the sound scroll. We've decided to remove all the content in there and redesign it to a more suitable look. You'll find some new features in there such as XP lock, as well as removing roofs from the game if that's how you prefer to play.

Some of the buttons in there are still in the works and aren't available to use yet. Rest assured, they will be filled up eventually.

Finally, we've changed the bank interface so that now you are able to search for your bank items as well as insert all items in your inventory easily and efficiently. The system however hasn't changed, and spots will not be 'filled' and move backwards as you withdraw items (some of you were asking about that).




In Other News...

December is among us.. and it's starting to get a bit cold in CreativeScape!
The Christmas event is being 'planned' but development is not underway yet until we have it planned out. Development will most likely start sometime within the next 3 to 4 four days in time for a release a few days to week before Christmas.
Users are no longer able to teleport through wilderness obelisks if they are teleblocked.
Some Fletching XP/Levels have been corrected to what they should be.
If you are in a trade and the trade tab under the chatbox is selected, you will now only be able to see the chat from the player you're trading with.
Yell now has its own toggle-able tab and can be enabled/disabled through the menu underneath the chatbox.
The bug which caused a user to only be able to see 1 single item when attempting to loot their items after death should now be fixed.

Exciting news has emerged recently regarding the new boss which will be released in the wilderness soon! Our developer, James has released a full development log explaining the boss itself, where it can be found upon release, it's special abilities and much more. Hello everyone!
Recently have we updated our funpk system! Fun Pk now has a single and a multiway combat zone. When teleporting using the teleport tab, you will be presented with an option to go to either single or multiway combat. The ::funpk command will still send you to the multi zone for ease of use.



We also have added Crystal keys in-game. All Npc’s 40cb+. The Crystal chest is on it’s way to be brought to us aswell with many rewards inside!
