I wonder...

Some guy just added me on skype probably after seeing me post my skype id on some threads to buy rs3 gold, he says he is selling 500m @ .45/m.

He goes by the skype id: mich.pau2 i ask him to show me his sythe profile he shows me his osbot profile and says he doesnt have a sythe so i say i can pay .37/M and purchase 300m if you want to sell i can use a middleman of his choice or he can go first from sythe.

Then he stops responding, what do you guys think about this it might just be normal practice but was he legit or just attempting to scam me hoping i'd go first?
Note: He could sell to highly vouched goldfarmers for .37 -.38

 

Scam attempt.
Always ask for a Sythe pm before anything when you get added out of the blue.

 

Just be smart and think logically.

If he got your skype from Sythe and he says he doesn't have a skype profile, that user is most likely banned or is trying to impostor someone.

Just ask for a sythe pm and if that person declines, block them.

 

Thanks man, yeah i asked him for a pm he said he dont have sythe i said we can use a mm of your choice from sythe he stopped responding so blocked

 

Yeah, thanks for the heads up buddy. i did think he was a scammer.

 

When someone adds you regarding the gold or whatever you're wanting to sell and don't want to pm you or show you a profile, it's rather a scammer or just a moron time waster. Don't post your skype in all of your threads, just to people who really want to buy from you so you make sure you won't be added by random people.

its hit or miss on that one, sometimes it is legit and sometimes its not
some people just browse and don't reg up cuz they are one time buyers

 

It's a scam attempt man don't fall for it.
Ask for a Pm from Sythe and you should be fine.
