I think he should have gotten longer. The NFL either needs to stop policing or be more fair with their suspensions. Their new domestic violence policy following the Ray Rice fiasco is a step in the right direction though.

The 49ers front seven is going to suffer for a while that's for sure. They're lucky that Bradford has been injured, the Rams could've given them stiff competition for a wildcard spot in the playoffs.

All talk seems to be on the NFL's most famous 7th rounder getting shafted aka Michael Sam getting cut. No doubt he's going to be put on a PS or signed elsewhere. He'll probably end up as a sports presenter on ESPN once he's done as they can't stop talking about him.

Hawkins could have a decent showing for the Browns considering Gordon ain't there. Not sure how much Cooks is going to stand out in his first year considering he is a rookie and the Saints offense likes to spread the ball around a lot. I'd say Sanders is likely to pick up similar numbers to what Decker got last year.

 

I was surprised to see the Patriots cut Jerel Worthy already. That guy had such a promising career it looked like coming into the NFL. Has been nothing but an oft-injured, perennially overweight, lazy player.

 

@jack, I was at the texans preseason game while the draft was going on. Very bad service at football games. While I agree nobody cares, if a few of us take it seriously it will still be fun.

Let's discuss:
- Will gronk be able to stay healthy?
- Do you guys think Johnathan Grimes has a legit chance of taking Arian fosters spot if foster doesn't perform better than ever.
- T.J Yates on the falcons had a great game and also has a playoff win under his belt with the texans. Could a team try and make him into a starter?

 

Would not be surprised if he was put on PS only to return to active 53 in a few weeks due to our current DL injuries although we just picked up a UDFA DT from the Giants who was the victim of a numbers game, apparently Giants fans are irate since they liked him better than two other players that were drafted higher than him.

-As much as I want Gronk to stay healthy I doubt it. Hopefully he's there for the post-season when it really counts though.
-I don't think he will be de-throning him yet but will likely get a few more snaps, I think Fosters time with the Texans has an expiry date in the not too distant future
-Not a chance with Matty Ice at the helm which is unfortunate for the Falcons considering he's one of the worst post-season quarterbacks ever



Mallet was finally traded to the Texans for a 6th. It had been delayed so much I thought we were just going to keep him but it seems that not to be the case. Next years draft is going to be joocy with a somewhat high 4th for Mankins, somewhat high 6th for Mallet and probably a compensatory 3rd for Talib/Blount

EDIT: appears it's actually a 7th that can be a 6th based on playing time, either way Mallet was never the answer in New England and with us drafting decently in the later rounds a 6/7th & a free roster spot is a steal
