I Apologise....

I have recently heard some interesting information in regards to my pending mming application. Apparantly in the irc i came across as arrogant when i was comparing my vouches with Atomics a.k.a The_Lobster . The_Lobster posted his vouch list saying "look at that lengthy vouch list" and i commented saying nice and then i compared my vouch list with his saying i have more playing around. Although this be seen as "bragging, arrogance, boasting" call it what you like i can assure you that i dont go around saying ooh i have X vouches im more superior to you. Anyways thanks for taking the time to read this and apologise for the way i may have came across.

No offence, but you just made yourself seem incapable of making being an MM, making a post like this to apologize for something that wouldn't even bend your reputation as an MM. Trust me, this is nothing compared to what you will be gone through, if you do get accepted in a position of an MM.

Thanks for your honesty curt. Although it doesnt affect my reputation i didn't agree with what i had heard and the way i came across. The staff had obviously got the wrong impression and arrogance is actually quite negative imo so i am apologising if i came across that way.

 

Well you got all your vouches and trades done without being a mod or a extremely trusted person so in a way you have worked alot harder for the position than the lobster, but in other ways he probably worked harder and helped out alot around sythe to gain his mod position. I don't really understand the whole getting proofs thing with middlemans, but it seems difficult I gave up after doing 6 pins. You really shouldnt apologize over such small things, you are doing a great job so far.

whats the point in apologising on here because you think you disrespected the lobster?? if you said you had more vouches and he thought you came across as arrogant so be it, why are you posting a public apology on here to lobster like he is your boss?

Its more an apology to the staff for the way i may have came across. Im not apologising to lobster i am simply explaining as i believe some of the staff may have gotten the wrong idea according to what i have heard.

 

^no, his job is to moderate the forums. He can be said to be the moderator of the Market Forums, so basically he enforces the rules like a police man in a sense...police men/women aren't bosses...except your breaking the RULES.
i saying you have more vouches than someone isn't breaking the rules. (reply to Zerrox btw)

Don't ever apologize for anything. Own up to what you did. Shit happens, and we get on with our lives. Going back into that is only wasting time. Havig more vouches, if the lobster didn't like that, then he's just going to have to suck it up if you get Official MM. He's not the only one with an opinion around here, and with his current rank, he doesn't actually effect your being an MM

Not to be rude to the lobster, or to degrade him in any way. He is still staff, and you must respect him, but if he gets defensive about something small like that, or if any mod does, just ignore it. These things go away if you leave them be.

I didn't get defensive about anything, it wasn't me who commented on what he said and I actually agreed with him that he had a good vouch list.

IMO you pretty much did nothing wrong in my eyes.
