Best drygore weapons?

ok guys well Im going to buy a drygore set for slayer etc, and I don't have a clue which to buy.

I know the mace has a pray bonus, but im only 75 pray atm so I don't think it matters much.

which would you guys recommend?

They all seem to be very good. Though I've used my Longsword set the most.

 

Rapiers, great for frosts/kk =)

 

They're all good. However, the Main-hand Drygore Mace has a +5 Prayer boost but the Off-hand Mace doesn't. In terms of stats, that's the best. Otherwise, it's whatever, you prefer to use and is cost effective.

 

Main hand mace, offhand rapier.

 

They're all the sameish really. Maces are best for monsters with weakness to crush and so on.

 

I personally like the maces, but you could go main mace and offhand rapier (not much of a fan of the longs )

 

Main hand mace offhand rapier. Best damage imo. Also if you do pray on tasks the +5 bonus really does help.

 

I think dual longs is the most versatile. A lot of slayer monsters weak to slash.

 

They are all the same (except Pray bonus from Mace)

So it really depends on what you're fighting and they're weaknesses. In general, I'd say it's safe to use longswords all around. Like frosts? Rapiers.

 

Main hand mace is by far the best main hand dry gore if you are fighting a monster without taking into account the monster's weakness. (PvM situations and such)
Fastest + prayer bonus, and damage output is only slightly lower than the rest, however it compensates with speed. Really can't go wrong with main hand mace.
For off-hand I would suggest sticking to longsword.
I've tested all of the melee weapon combinations at Saradomin and Zamorak; with main hand mace and off-hand longsword winning by 3-5 more kills an hour.
I would suggest sticking to weapons specific to monster weakness for slayer though. Hits around 10% higher which is the difference in damage output between level 80 and 90 weapons.

 

Im a rapier guy, been rocking mh rapier oh rapier since release and gotta say I love it.

 

There is only a slight difference between each of them I use maces personally.
