Banned for botting?

Okay, The main reason I quit runescape was because my main account which was nearly maxed got hacked "Let some guy on a different forum train it while I was on holiday." and he seemed to be training it by hand at first seen as I kept going to him and viewing in screen share for the first week and he wasn't botting. Any how, I went on holiday and left the guy training my divination to 99 from 90 seen as I hate that skill. When I came back the guy wasn't on Skype so I thought it must of been done, I went to log in and it was perm banned for botting.

I was wondering If I could do anything to get the account unbanned?

Botting is of no excuse, create a new rs account and start again. 5 Years of waste maybe.

Jagex take Macroing as a whole very seriously.

 

I would say to ask them on twitter about your account being hijacked and used for farming gold, but no password was changed, so it wouldn't really work out in your favor.

I've tried fighting these bans, sadly there is no way out as they don't even look at macro ban appeals :/

You could try to contact them on twitter saying your account was hacked, they can check on which IP it's been botted

 

No excuse my man, do it here and there, on an account that doesn't mean much to you and just for fun, but if you're going to risk another user on your account, be ready to face the consequences.

 

Absolutely nothing. Account sharing is against the rules for a start.

 

Will not work. They say that regardless of wether the original owner was in control of the account or not it's always the owners responsibility to keep the account secure.
