RuneScape Website/Servers Completely Down

Somebody needs to tell these degenerates seeking e-fame how stretched your butthole gets in prison.

Different group. Lizard Squad or something. DERP has voiced support, but they haven't done any of the DDoSing

 

Wondering if this DDOS stuff is widespread, might not be the same group but I feel like a lot of places got attacked. Runescape was down for a bit, EA Sports servers were sputtering on multiple platforms + multiple games, Netflix went down for a while too.

Seems too many things were hit for it to be a coincidence.

Then again, Jagex & EA literally run their servers on a potato with wires poking into it.

 

Looks like the attacks are mostly focused on RS atm. If you look at the lizard squad twitter feed, that's all they're talking about.

 

Wondering if they prompted other groups to attack other servers.


These lizard people also knocked LoL offline, apparently.

Netflix + EA I'm not sure if they were attacked, but all going down on the same day? Doesn't seem like a coincidence.

There were links on the RS homepage that led to phishing sites.. so yeah.. be careful with RS in general. A Jmod sent a report to the web team in the GMT early hours so could be fixed by now.
