Who do you think the greatest rapper is of all time and what's your reasoning behind it?

I'd say eminem just because so many people like him and his songs are insanely popular (I'm not too big of a fan but I like him a bit)

My other choice would be tupac for the same reason.

Is there more reasons like what their music means to you or something a bit more in depth?

Depth is so much more important than just being mainstream and controversial imo. I couldn't care less about his celebrity status, I like him for his music.

I'm speaking to everyone who thinks their cool for listening to Eminem, but don't understand his music.

I'm not one that really looks for the depth in a song, I more like it for how it sounds. On that note I'd have to say Kanye is my favorite simply because he's put out so many tracks that I like.

I would have to say it would be close but i would have to go with Redman or Nas as 1 and 2 respectively closely followed by Jay Z at 3 some other honorable mentions in the top 10 ever would be Tupac, Scarface, Ice Cube, Big L, Biggie, Eminem and Andre 3000

    Each to their own lol

Haven't bumped much of Nas or Tupac who are supposedly the GOATs however so my opinion could change.

Like his music but he looks out of place in his own rap videos lmao.

So is he primarily just a "MC"... host or however you want to put it? What do MCs put out, is it just events that they appear at or do they also put out their own music? I haven't delved into that world at all.

Mc has been a word used for "rappers" before the word rapper came into popular use. Usually the more oldschool less hype type guys call themselves mc's. Rap is primarily about money hoes and other stupid bullshit whereas MCs are into word play and lyricism, not just material bullshit and gangbanging.
