Do you own desert boots?

Desert boots are way of life. I own 25 pairs and i alternate between pairs every 2 days. During the winter i pop em in my backpack and when i get to an indoor area i pop em right on and continue my swagger. Anywho, do any of you own desert boots? What are your personnel preferences when it comes to them? How often do you wear them and in what setting?

I have one pair of steel cap boots for my engineering studies, some formal black shoes and a couple of pairs of joggers... lol. None of them are in that style.

Twc on OP. Lied about owning 25 pairs of desert boots, which is a fucking felony.

 

Am I the only one ITT that owns a pair of desert boots? I have them in beeswax, think I need to treat 'em but I'm not sure what to treat 'em with that I can get locally.

 

I remember fishing lobsters in desert boots back in the day. Those kicks were shiny bright white...

The shoes I have IRL though are some white aasics trainers plus a pair of dress shoes and sandals.

 

Goddamnit Jack, you would. If its regular leather try mink oil. It conditions and waterproofs the leather.

I wear boots, boots and vans.

Work wellingtons, nice ones and a couple pairs of half cabs. Honestly after getting used to good boots I wear them all the time.

 

Olive leather. Worn too much due to the Pacific Northwest rain but I like them.
