Dental Braces Issue

I'll make the story short.

I once used dental braces for 2 years and it was supposed to fix the problem that I had, little did I know it wasn't fixed so here I am using them once again but now they're hurt and the look of it ; makes me wonder if I should use them and complete the treatment or just throw it away and get em removed. I now have those rubber thingies that goes hurts alot (rubber band attached to two teeths)

I wonder how I can move on with this! Dating,eating has been a pain in the ass cause it hurts so much.

 

What do you want for life? Fucked up teeth or well aligned teeth?

It'll be worth it in the end, be thankful you can have such treatment available to you, not everyone is so lucky.

 

That sucks to hear. How long has it been since they put it back in? It shouldn't take longer than 1-2 weeks for the pain to be gone.

Question the dentist as to why it didn't work the way it's suppose too, and ask if it's necessary to get them again.

 

I forgot to mention that I lived abrod (Argentina) the time when I first got the braces and got them removed there, after that I'm back on Brazil were I was told I was going to put braces again and so far it's 1 month max.

 

Have you asked them to loosen it up a little? They should do it for you.

 

All braces hurt a little, it's worth it for the end result. Part of the course buddy. Everyone I know that's had braces has said they've been slightly sore. You'll get used to eating - just keep them in.

Side-story: a friend of mine took his out at night half-asleep and wrapped it around his finger and when he woke up it was swollen and blue, don't do that xD

 

Your teeth will get used to it later on, It jurts but I suggest eating rice and soft things

Definitely keep them on man! Pain is only temporary, but good teeth will be more permanent. Back when I was in 5th grade, what seems like centuries ago, I had just gotten braces and I thought they were terrible. Of course the other kids made fun and they hurt so I got them removed. Well now I wish I hadn't because my teeth are still messed up a bit, and now I can't afford to get them back.

 

I think I can cope with the pain knowing that my teeth will be straight afterall.

 

I would take great, straight teeth any day. WELL worth it in the end man! Keep truckin

Just got back from the dentist saying that's getting closer every time I go there and it'll be no more than 7months time till I get em removed.

 

I would post my before & after pictures but fucking hell they were terrible rofl.

It is well worth it in the end, trust me.
It's a shame you've had to have em for so long though, I've only had mine for a few months and due to take them off in 4.

 

yeah the argentinian dude was a total idiot but well, now i just have to wait because it actually works

 

How are you holding up? Are you adjusting to them okay?

 

I'm about 2 months from getting mine off and my teeth were appalling before (not that I could help it I was just one of those kids with fucked up teeth)

Now they are straight and aligned and look sexy :3

Nah, but trust me, i'll all be worth it when you get them off.

Glad things worked out for you. I had them for 4 years and they were a pain in the ass. Especially the rubber band. Like anything, you get used to the over time. I actually hated getting used to my retainers over the braces. I think it was the fact that the retainers could be removed and I was to young to understand the concept of retaining the work that was done.

I digress. Congrats on making them work

 

It's getting closer and closer, just came back from the dentist and next appointment he'll tell me how much longer till the end of the treatment.
