[Aquarium] Fish Keeping [Fish Tank]

Hi guys, I've just started a new fish tank and its beginning to become an addiction, I've got a juwel vision tank and it's massive!!! I love it haha, I was just wondering if anyone else has fish and what tanks etc they have.
Looking to get some info on fish keeping and how to breed etc.
I currently have tropical tank but thinking about starting a seperate salt water.

I had an aquarium and I couldnt find a balance of fish that wouldn't eat/chase each other. Tried multiple combinations, got fed up and just filled the tank with colourful goldfish.

 

I manage twelve japanese fighting fish in three tanks

 

I have a juwel vision 260, Best tank i've ever had!!! I've got a big selection of tropical fish in there, What tank do you guys have? Upload some pics ?

I had a small acquarium as a kid. Got to be too big a hassle so donated thd fish to a buddy who had a larger tank.

Kept an iguana in the tank for 3.5 years till he passed :'(

 

Sorry i don't know what that is haha, I got a juwel tank i love it!! I'm thinking of building my own tank next! Going to start a marine aquarium this week coming!

Interesting, going to build it out of plexiglass or regular glass? Seal with marine grade caulk??

Had about 13 years to grieve but yeah, I still cry.

 

I wish I had photos of the tanks my dad used to have while I was growing up. Had a few 20 gal, some 50 gal, and a 100 gal tanks at one point.

 

I've had a few tanks. I have my sisters goldfish tank (nothing exciting they're fucking goldfish), I had my lizard tank but passed after about 4 years.

I had a fish tank for 12 years. I started out with 2 Silverdollars. They were real troopers and survived up until the great boiling of 09. My heaters temperature reading system malfunctioned and was reading a colder temperature than it was supposed to so it never shut off the heater and brought my tank to near boiling levels. All my fish died except for 2. The two that survived were cichlids (a type of fish). These two fish were given to me by a good friend (who also was my sister's fiancee's twin brother). Four days after he gave me the fish he passed away in his sleep he was 17. I'm glad that out of all my fish the two he gave me survived. I haven't added any fish to my tank since excluding a few algae eaters to keep the place manageable. Still a sad story. He had the greatest fish tank ever. He was an avid cichlid breeder and worked in the specialty fish store near my house.

 

Thats the only thing i worry about i have over £150 worth of fish in my tank, Worried if my heater breaks haha, I have a spre one though and i check my temperature everyday!

I had about 20 neon tetras when I was a kid, they all died one day though . Tropical fish look really cool can see myself getting back into it one day.

 

I love tetra fish haha so colourful, I just spend £45.00 each on new discus fish, I love them! The colours they have make it look like they're glowing haha! Anypne got a marine tank?
