Full time factory worker while i go back to school for software development, already been to school for culinary arts and worked in restaurants for a while. I love computers though =]

 

Yea my parents know, they think it's illegal and are more worried then happy lmao.

Someone should tell you this before it's too late. DO NOT KEEP THAT MONEY IN YOUR BANK! Assuming you aren't wealthy enough to not be eligible for financial aid, you will be applying for financial aid when you go to college. The money that the student has is weighted heavily in their calculations and having that much will lead to a fairly significant reduction in your financial aid package. It is much better to let your parents keep it under their name in a savings account. Also, investments like CDs and stocks are weighted more as well. It all depends. But whatever you do, don't keep it in your bank account.

Edit: Assuming you are going to a US university. I don't know how it works elsewhere.

Nah, I like my 4.5 days off every week. Its like vacation 52 weeks a year. I do have my Network administration degree, I am super good at accounting, I can do roofing, drywall, painting etc as well. I can do a lot of stuff if I want but after working 2 jobs and 70 hrs a week for a few years solid I am in no rush to kill myself anymore.

I have a good enough credit score and make enough to get a loan on my own for almost 225k for a house so I am not changing anything. Turn 27 in 2 months.
