He was referencing Boosting Hell, who scammed him 50M 07 in a dice duel.

I used to speak with Boosting Hell often (as I did / still do with Boatswain, another avid dicer) and I thought it was just some mix-up, so I went to speak with CK regarding the situation to verify his story. Then I spoke with BH. After everything was said and done, I told CK I'd try and see if I could get BH to pay him what he owed. BH told me he was going to go deposit money in the bank in the morning, but never did, and never paid.

I don't know why CK thought I was "protecting the scammer". He said it multiple times in the conversation we had, but would never explain why he kept saying it.

I didn't have to contact CK. I didn't have to contact BH. I voluntarily tried to help another community member out.

I never assured him that BH would pay back. I came to verify the legitimacy of the dice duel and see if I could speak / reason with BH and try to get him to pay.
