Folt Disputing Ban

Hey, I woke up this morning to find that I’ve been banned for “Selling Amazon Chargebacks”.

I just wanted to state a few things with regards to what happened here. A friend of mine on another website was providing a service which made him a reasonable amount of money, and he passed his service idea onto me. I was interested because he was making a fair income from the service and with the partnership idea which we had in mind, he was going to be the one providing the service – as I acted as the middle man of the trade. Essentially I’d be collecting the fee from the customer, he would provide whatever service it is that he provides to his customers regularly, then we would split up the service fees half ways.

I should mention, the service was never launched and I’ve never involved myself in this at all yet because I wasn’t sure of the rules on Sythe about this. I wasn’t sure because I’d never seen anything like it before, and I wanted to ask about it before I jumped the gun and started up without knowing that it was okay. I decided to ask Richard and Roary, not knowing that it would potentially get me banned in the inquiry process. If I was told that it was not allowed, I wouldn’t have considered providing the service at all. This is a new area for me and I don’t know anything about it, that’s why I wanted to ask before I got myself into trouble. I wouldn’t have went to two admins for permission if I already knew this was against the rules.

I wasn’t going to involve myself with this until I knew that I was allowed to (Which I am not), and it’s something that I was willing to learn because it seemed like an area that could yield me some profits. I looked at this from the wrong perspective and should have thought about it more, I was only thinking of the idea of having a great partnership service that guaranteed profits. Now that I know it’s against the rules, of course I will not pursue this service, all I was looking to hear as a response was “This is against the rules” and it would never have even been considered anyways.

I hope that you guys understand where I am coming from, since I’ve returned I’ve put a lot of time and effort into the site. It’s become a hobby of mine, I love being here and I’m very active throughout every single day.

Since I returned to sythe I have:

- Been extremely active – Nearly 1k posts since mid-May
- Almost tripled my Vouches from 85 all the way to 231, and planned on getting 300 vouches by September
- Became a SVU to prove that I am a serious market user.
- Donated $50, primarily for the purpose to become a SVU and for the
additional level of trust that it builds on my profile.

I really and truly hope that this is not the end for me, I am a sincere user that really cares about Sythe, and only wants the best for the community. I honestly was unsure about the rules with regards to all of this, and I only wanted to ask to make sure before I jumped into it. I just wanted to repeat and clarify that what I inquired about has not been a service that I’ve ever provided or profited from, and it was only an idea fuelled by a friend of mine who has done this elsewhere.

 

While I understand where you're coming from at the end of the day it was an interest in scamming a website.

A pardon would be more appropriate for this offense IMO as we've been others for the exact same reason before.

I'll let another mod weigh in on this.

 

Pardoning may be the best option.

 

Denied. Obvious scamming is obvious.


Dont know what your morals are, but you send amazon $600 for an xbox one, get the product, and your money back????? Thats not how the world works.
