Rare Name Release 2014

It's tomorrow?

 

A-C is tomorrow, ETA 2PM BST.

 

Yeah, tomorrow. Though I think a lot of the names have already been wiped that are intended to have been wiped. I noticed a "g" name today wiped off my FL. It was really obscure and not rare at all.

So, the "A" letter name I want is still on my fl untouched, I don't think it's going anywhere. My guess is it's on a banned account or the person has been active even though it doesn't even appear in HS (and they recently changed it so log-ins to f2p accounts get back on there). So that leads me to believe it's banned.

 

For anyone who could use a time zone converter, worldtimebuddy has one that's extremely easy to use. So 9AM EST (my time) I'll be ready

 

I'm definitely interested in changing it. I should probably think of some ideas before tomorrow hits though.

 

I guess they've started the other letters too, an F name i had added has been cleared too.

I'm kind of bummed out the one I want isn't gonna be available. I don't even think it's really that rare, it's just cool.

I can't find any trace of it ever being traded on Sythe.

Well I'm against people sniping every single rare name, as I want one too! Not fun if every one is taken by same hoarders as last time

Nothing wrong with getting a feew names but excessive hoarding is not cool.

 

Agreed, I'm going for just 1 name, it's not so much rare as it is it'd mean a lot to me to have it. I really hope I get it or I'll be really bummed.

 

sorta confused...so they are implementing a new thing ingame to change names?

it says "all you’ll need to do is head straight into game to check if the name you’re after is available"

Does that mean that there will be a reset for game update at that time tomorrow and a different method so that name bots cant grab everything?

 

I feel like that was only meaning for people that have changed their names this month. They'll be required to log-in and redeem a bond to change it again.

Anyone else have thoughts on this?

 

You can change your name ingame without a bond, and it seems like a better method because you can just keep clicking 'Check Availability' instead of having to refresh the page in your browser, obviously that's failing you have a name grabbing bot or something.
