what you all think of America flying in 2 infected americans with the ebola virus to Atlanta Georgia in a regular hospital at a level 2 security section, while border patrol is on stand down busing in illegal immigrants and housing them in texas federal prisons? What you think about the military having the right to arrest American citizens under NDAA (national defense authorization act) of January 1st 2012, and Obama amending an executive order to detain citizens with respiratory diseases? They are being extremely cautious, so I don't see a problem at all. Just increases the guys chance at surviving as he will have better health care in America rather then Africa.
how dare the federal government spend us tax dollars to save lives and prevent the spread of deadly disease in other neighboring countries.
I feel bad for Liberia Africa. http://www.stuff.co.nz/world/africa/10345734/Ebola-victims-lay-dead-in-the-street
They're both infectious disease doctors who went to another country to help. Regardless of the contagion they've caught, they're Americans. It would look pretty bad with "America denies American Infectious Disease Doctors to return for treatment, both doctors dead two days later" - as a headline. The american people would be outraged.
Why not take them to the GITMO base medical hospital and treat them before reentry, just to be safe? Its a US owned territory so its now like we're denying them American Soil. Obama is something else. NDAA, ACA, Libya Bombings, the list goes on and on
Haha, did you know that there have only been 2500 recorded death with ebola for the last 40 years. This hype sure is a joke
Because this isn't that infectious. Any real threat of Ebola in the US will only hurt a very very small population in one little little area. CDC and hospitals are trained on these things. Someone pops up with ebola and immediately they go through everyone they have been in contact with. The cycle goes on until everything is quarantined. It has a very short lifespan outside of the human body. The reason why its so bad in Africa is because of the terrible health conditions they have there. Bodily fluids are not handled well like they are in well developed countries.
Ebola itself seems pretty damn scary. But then again I think the media is milking it for all its worth. Either way, ebola has some horrific symptoms.
Really stupid that we brought it into the U.S. even though they say it won't spread and we know how to control it. I think it's already out of control just not to an extent that we all realize.
