It would be wise to change your password on other sites. This seems like the type of site to log old passwords in plaintext. I would go so far as to say the website could log unsuccessful logins

I'd change your passwords on all other sites too. He may have recorded every password you changed it to/from.

This issue is being handled. Gpbets is run by trustworthy individuals and I am also there to help. No one is out to steal your passwords and there is a developer to fix any security issues. As for the site I am there almost 24/7 and will be able to do any cash-outs or cash-ins or to just play poker.

If anyone doesn't trust us with their information just make up an email and a new password, and then none of this will apply.

I wouldn't consider you a trustworthy source of information regarding the code of this website. The developer obviously isn't fixing this problem, and the owner told me that it's not a big deal.

 

I am staff of Gpbets and appreciate you making this aware. I can assure you that this is being looked into. From what i can tell you are saying when an account is created the account information is displayed unencrypted in the url. This will be changed and if this fact makes anyone feel uncomfortable i urge them to change any similar passwords to ones they might have used on our site.

It's purposely done by the developer. No one "accidentally" makes these mistakes - and Astrola already told me it wasn't a big deal so they wouldn't be fixing it. I told him about it a week ago.

 

I appreciate your opinion, but there is no evidence I see that there is malicious intent. The issue will be fixed. If it is an issue with the developer we will look into fixing that issue as well. I can assure you this is our priority at the moment.

This is literally his second website. The first website was closed down due to security problems due to the initial owner trying to get unauthorized access to his old website. This led to the original owner hacking his old site, and, him and his workers paying back all of the chips to people who came up to him or his workers and asked for a refund.

As for the security of the site: that is the only spot where the password is not encrypted. Gpbets does not use the live chat mentioned. It is also not Gpbets's fault if someone gains illegal access to someone's personal files or computer. Chances are that if they were able to get thus far into hacking, they would know passwords of the person getting hacked anyway.

As for fixing the issue, a coder is actively fixing the issue. One can simply clear his or her browsing history, as well. Poker Mavens, which is the software that Gpbets uses, is known for its security, which is why it is the primary choice for hundreds of poker websites and enthusiasts around the Web.
