Some sort of sythe chat trivia/giveaway

I think the staff of Sythe should host a sythe chat trivia or giveaway at the sythe chat to get things kicked off there so more people can visit and communicate
What do you guys think?
I may also host a giveaway at the sythe chat so be ready

 

A trivia was already attempted on skype group chats and it didn't really work out as anticipated.

 

Wouldn't really see this working, people would do it for the trivia/giveaway then just stop using it :/

 

Thier are other sites like sythe with a black market who are high user based like sythe and even smaller. Thier chats always have atleast 9 users on it and even up to 40. Websites like osbot.
They have staff directly Assigned to their website's chat.
I think sythe should assign a user to sythe chat moderator and he will handle the activity and events of the chat.
The chat will benefit the site because more people will be active and use sythe more

 

Not enough activity.

Users will come for events, and won't show up after. Sometimes there will be more than 5 people in the chat, but no one talks.

 

Heh well personally If I was assigned to sythe chat staff I'd make it active at all times

 

Aswell new members come on the sythe chat to ask for assistance occasionally.

A simple trivia bot would make me hang out in the sythe chat.

 

No support on the idea. There are ways to get it active, there just has been no effort into doing so. This is not an idea that would get it running/active. Some people will come, then leave. The chat needs a lot more work before we even should try to get members into it.

 

If you ever wanted something like this, I would probably get hold of someone in the CDT (community development team.) They are mostly in charge of all the events and activities round the place

 

Once Sythechat has been fully established and is released properly I'll have the CDT on it.

I don't think this is much of a suggestion, more a hint for the CDT, so I'm closing this
