Just saw The Hobbit:The Desolation Of Smaug, and X-Men Origins:Wolverine.

That was the second X-Men movie I have watched, thinking about watching the series. What are the others like?

 

All are good, aside X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009). Even then, it's not that bad, just doesn't meet expectations like the others.

I'd highly recommend watching them all.

Rewatched Inglorious Basterds, just as excellent as the last 3 times I watched it. 10/10

Guardians of the Galaxy.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I sure liked it a lot more than I thought I would.

 

Like Father, Like Son. It is a Japanese movie I found on netflix. I'd give it a 7.5/10; it was a decent watch.

I'll probably see that movie soon. It looks great and has a lot of positive reviews.

 

Inglorious Basterds is an excellent movie. I put off watching Django Unchained for the longest time and finally watched it about 2 months ago and WOW! It was a great film. Such a great homage to all of the blacksploitation cinema of the 60's and 70's.

Not a movie but I finished the first season of Twin Peaks by David Lynch yesterday. I had also put off watching it because I was afraid I wouldn't enjoy Lynch in television format, but he did not disappoint. It's as odd and as cryptic (well as odd and cryptic as a television show can be) as the rest of Lynch's film work.

Next on my list:
Mother - Bong Joon-Ho
Tokyo Godfathers (Rewatch) and Paprika - Satoshi Kon
Muholland Drive - David Lynch

 

Dawn of the planet of apes.

Really good movie. Enjoyed it a lot.

 

Captain America: The Winter Solider.

7/10.

Wasn't as good as people made it out to be, but was still very entertaining; few plot holes.

Finally saw Guardians of the Galaxy. I'd give it a 8.5/10. I was kind of tired when I saw the movie, so that may have hindered my movie experience, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. Honestly, I feel like watching it again.

 

Snowpiercer - didn't like it at all.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier - decent movie & worth a watch.

Expendables 3 - predictable but plenty of action.
