Depression

So, I had been dating my girlfriend for over a year now. We talked about marriage and our life together and then she told me she loved me before she went to sleep. I woke up and she dumped me told me we had no future together and hasn't talked to me in almost 3 weeks. I don't know what to do. I still love her so much and I lost my girlfriend and my bestfriend when she broke up with me. I'm not in highschool so it's not some short oh you'll get over it relationship I am at the point where I am looking to settle down.

I don't know what to do. I know she is the one.

Are you sure she is the one? I mean she did break up with you out of nowhere (based on your story) and havn't tried to get into contact with you for 3 weeks. Now think if something like this happened when you had kids, not that great right?

My advice is to find her and talk. Before running back to her you need to figure out why this happened.

 

Try to forget her. Even if you love her she doesn't deserve you. She left you without even givinh you an explaination of what happened. I'm going to be honest with you, she might have another guy or she might not love you anymore. Leave that, you're more than she ever deserved. Be good with yourself and love yourself. Don't fell down dude, things like that happen. In other hand you could try and contact her for at least an explaination otherwise you won't ever forget what was the main reason she left you for. Do whatever you want but don't be stupid.

 

I hear what you guys are saying but it's like when you plan something out with someone and talk about how many kids you're going to have and a marriage date and all of that kind of stuff. Then they just leave it kind of leaves you empty inside. Like I said I am well over being an adult it wasn't just some childish relationship. So it really sucks.

 

You may think she's the one but I can tell you she's not. If she was, she wouldn't have left like that... would she?

Chin up, it'll hurt for some time. In the meantime, go lift as an anti-depressant and go out and meet some new girls.

 

Yeah, I hear what you're saying but you have a visual of what you think is coming and honestly, as sad as it sounds. I would take her back in a second.

 

Honestly, nether of your statements did anything for me it was honestly pointless.

 

There are plenty of fish in the sea, don't get fixated or you'll end up doing stupid things. Try to stay busy and meet new people.

 

Hey Lorenzo, although it is true that there are plenty of fish in the sea when you have your eyes set on a special someone i know first hand nothing else matters.

So i suggest for you to find a new hobby. Find something you can do that will take your mind off everything and keep you at peace. Whether it be fishing like what i do when im struggling or a new video game. Find a new hobby, keep your head held high and show that B that you're fine without her.

 

Even though I am not fine, and it's getting worse honestly not better. I miss her insane and I've been drinking a lot. Not a big drinker before. She was my bestfriend as well as my girlfriend who I have known for years. Now she won't even talk to me. It's horrible honestly.

 

Just remember break ups happen. She will come around and honestly if she was truly your best friend she will come to a realization and she will find a way to contact you.
