[Drink] (Wal-Mart) - Coconut Wave

There's no official brand but it's a Wal-Mart product.

I was going to leave this product for tonight, but I just tried it out and I am amazed by it. Wal-Mart has some other cool and unique soda products that I've had but haven't uploaded because drinks aren't exciting.




You saw that right. What an awesome flavor, right? I saw coconut and thought, "Eh, I've had coconut soda before..." (review coming someday? Apparently people don't like my drink stuff). I saw that it had lemon-lime in it and I was excited but ready for a disappointment.

Low 5/5. This is a product I would try to get other people to try out so they can taste this wonderful combination. My only problem with this is their choice to use aspartame instead of another sweetener. Any other sweetener would probably be better because often times aspartame has a bitter but quick aftertaste.

Try it out. It was 75 cents for 2L of this. Even if you throw it away, it's only 75 cents and such a cool flavor and color (Blue 1 + Yellow 5). If I didn't just buy 20 bottles of soda for this review stuff, I would buy this again.

FYI, I'm not looking forward to finishing these by myself so I'm probably going to give them away.

Their apple soda manzanita sol is good too.

Also give pistachios another go, they are the supreme nut.

 

Zero calories? I'm in.

Just kidding, but yeah Manzanita Sol is by Pepsi and it is good. If you can find Green Apple soda, it is even better (you can only get Mexican imports of it. Not sure if I have a picture from when I tried it).

Wal-Mart does have a generic Manzanita Sol that tastes the same.

A lot of their stuff has zero calories due to the aspartame and similar sweeteners. Not that I'm trying to get anyone off this product - you mainly taste lemon-lime so it's like Sprite with added coconut.

 

I lol'd a calorie free.

Awkward moment when artificial sweeteners are actually worse than legitimate cane sugar since they increase your appetite and carbohydrate craving.

Really? Well normally that's a good thing. I feel like they'd open one of those grocery stores in NY. They have them in California.

The only reason I go to Wal-Mart is to find stuff that my local grocer doesn't have. This is one of those gems.
