Ghosts - Real or Not?

Are ghosts real or just a figment of our imaginations?

My opinion is that we as humans, will never find out or agree if ghosts exist.

Feel free to comment below and let me know your thoughts about the paranormal!

 

Depends if you believe in them or not. I am really thrilled by the videos shown on youtube where things actually float etc. That said, I do believe in them.

 

I'd call bullshit on this.

 

Moving to general as it's difficult to "debate" ghosts.

On topic though, I believe in some form of afterlife but not sure if it's exactly ghosts.

 

You must to believe in them in order to create them. I live with my girlfriend and she sometimes says that she hears a noise in the kitchen but when I go and check it there's nothing. She even said that when her grandmother died she saw her in the room and she told her that she doesn't need to cry and so on. This isn't bullshit at all, but i'd rather don't believe in them, I don't need more shit around, i've already got enough with my life.

 

They are a very real cyber-terrorist organization wreaking havoc around the net.

 

Ghost are just one of those things that used to float around all the time untill cameras were invented, after that they all went invisible alongside with god and all those other mystic beasts. Sneaky bastards I tell ya!

On another note:
When paranormal activity 1 came out then most of my class was like "Omg this is for real, it's not fake", I just laughed, really hard. After they read the description of the movie a fair amount of them were still like "but I still think this stuff happens". Based on that I'd say it's for the "not so bright" people that can't put 1+1 together.

 

Well I am not into that kind of stuff but I do respect these kind of things, in other words, I am obligated to. I don't want to mess with that kind of shit that's why I don't want to believe in it. When I was going in college people were like crazy about that film too but I think that the lack of matureness and the power of the film made them think that way, in other words they were attracted by the film. Anyways you better don't blame the "other world" otherwise you might be fucked, and this may sound crazy but it's how I feel all this.

 

I agree most of these paranormal show are just plain stupid. Even television shows seem silly but I mean were do all these stories come from? Are they just Insane people imagining it? You don't believe in Ghosts at all?

 

Not the slightest. What do you expect when people were eating magic mushrooms and "other stuff" at the start of our civilization and then saw who knows what (a white guy crawling out of a cave and flying to heaven is a good example). Those stories have been retold numberous times and we all know what happens to stories that get retold a few times, they get altered A LOT. Our mind also plays tricks on us (a human brain can have its kinks), that's why there are magicans who can do "magic" etc. If you can't touch it then most likely it isn't real is the way I roll (I know lightning is real without having to touch it, but ghosts lel ).

I don't believe in ghosts.

 

They are not.

 

I do not believe in ghosts because I have no reason to. The vast majority of ghost "sightings" can be put down to simple humanity. In other words, we look for things we want to see, we are naturally fearful creatures, and we like to jump to simple, convenient explanations even if they may not be true.

Someone in grief may believe they see or hear a dead loved one, someone afraid is constantly looking out for what they fear (and they believe they see it often enough), and generally in these situations these people are unable to think critically and rationally. More rational conclusions for ghost sightings include human psychology, sleep paralysis, or fear of what one doesn't understand.

The apparent ghosts leave absolutely no evidence of their existence, and they are completely immeasurable entities. Thus, for all intents and purposes it's pretty fine to assume they don't exist. I'd certainly be willing to change my stance if sufficient evidence was provided, but I think it's unlikely given there has been, historically, none.

 

I personally don't believe in ghosts.
