And the screenshots of your latest conversations/email from skype? Were they ever shown to Honest Iago?

 

So at this point in time, it looks like Leanbean does not have any email to show as he never received one, and he doesn't plan on showing a screenshot of that conversation. Seems legit.

 

I made a fake email when I created the skype to help prevent my skype from being hacked, which I don't have any login credentials for. Using a known email address only gives social engineers and hackers more personal information about you that they can use to help them gain access to your account.

 

Why would you create a Skype which you use for Sythe but not save the credentials of the email? You say that Skype are VERY EASILY hacked, yet you take no precautions of saving the information for your own Skype account? Seems pretty sketchy

 

Yep, sketchy as hell.

 

He needs a TWC staff. At the very least. He didn't have his skype linked to his e-mail no wonder it was "hacked"

 

You don't think using a Skype which you can't even recover, not sketchy? Even if you submitted a "recovery" for it. They would send an email to your registered email. Oh but wait, you don't even have that information.

 

Me using a one time email address when creating a skype while I was heavily involved in the RS market and was directly after ooga had admitted he hacked my previous skype account has nothing to do with my account getting hacked. Nothing was my fault. Get a PM and you won't have these problems.

I'm not trying to come off as rude but this thread is just a thread of people questioning my legitimacy and attacking me on a personal basis, which quite frankly i'm sick of seeing.

 

Obviously the whole PM thing was Honest Iago's own fault, but you making a skype which you can't even recover? Staff has said so themselves that Skype is really unsafe to use. But you took it a step further and made it virtually impossible to recover your own skype account because you forgot your own email info.

 

How does that fall under my negligence?

 

You see nothing wrong with creating a Skype on a fake email that you can't even log into? If someone were trying to gain access to your account but failed, you would never even know about it because you get 0 emails. Maybe the hacker failed a couple times. You would've found out and maybe attempted to message everyone you do business with saying "Hey, if I ever message you about anything, make sure I ask for a PM on sythe because someone has been trying to get into my skype"

edit: and if you did create a fake email for this skype. I'm pretty sure Gmail/Yahoo/AOL/and outlook usually ask for a primary email should you ever lose your original information.

 

My signature has always said NEVER TRADE WITHOUT A CONFIRMATION PM. It's pretty hard to misunderstand the intentions of my signature. Me using a one time email address doesn't mean I forgot the information, it means I used fake information when creating the skype account. There are other ways of recovering my account back so at the end of the day me using a one time email doesn't change anything for this case.

 

Are you saying that whenever you do business with someone that you've done business a couple of days prior, you check their profile first? And we're not talking about recovering your skype, we're talking about an email being sent to you to prove that you were indeed breached.

 

Yes actually I do, especially if it's for a large amount. Idc if I've traded with you 100 times I always get a PM if someone thinks I should go first. Checking the latest IP of my skype shows it was hacked by someone who knows how the skype recovery system works.

 

I'm just still baffled at how you think its okay to have a skype registered to an email that you can't even access.

 

I can repeat myself all day long as well, but it doesn't change anything.

 

If someone sends a confirmation PM that they are on Skype talking with a user, they are responsible for anything that occurs over Skype in the near future. The chances of someone's Skype being hacked in between the time that a confirm PM is sent and a transaction completed is basically zero.

 

Solution: Don't trade such large amounts of money over a forum in the first place.

 

Why would you assume it's basically 0? Obviously 20 minutes was unrealistic. Lets say it was 2 hours? What then?

 

This isn't getting anywhere. You won't be able to prove he did it under the available information we have. Leanbean isn't the type of guy to do something like this either. He would be a fool to throw away.
