Guitar Hero - How to "Rockout"

ARE YOU READY TO ROCK?..like these guys?

I'm pretty sure 110% of the users on Sythe know I play Guitar hero, and that I am a master of shred.(I have beat both the games on expert)

I would like to share my tips to everyone here on the forum, in the form of a guide.

    Lets break it down.

    -BASICS-

Lets asume you have never played the game before. You start a career, and start playing your first song.

That meter to your way left is your score meter. This is what is used to determine your rating of the song.(Either ***, ****, or *****)

Right below your score is your Multiplyer. Every 10 notes you hit, you gain another multiplyer. Each note is worth 50 points(Atleast..on expert?) so if you had a 4x multiplyer(Max, without star power..we will get to that later) you can get a possible 200 points per note you hit.

All the way to your right is your star power meter. You get star power by hitting a set of notes in the shape of a star. This fills up your meter 25%, and when you get to 50% you can lift up your guitar and ROCK(use star power). This doubles your multiplyer, hence doubleing your overall points per note.

Right below your star power meter is your "Rock" meter. You obviously have to keep your fans entertained, and if you play badly your rock meter is going to go into the red. If it goes all the way down, you fail and have to restart. :(

I'm guessing you noticed that track comming twards you, right?..well..thats your note chart. You wait for the notes(green, yellow, red, blue, orange) to come down and meet the colored circle, then you hold down the corect color and strum. Thats pretty much the basics of rocking.

    -EASY-

Ok, so you are ready to play. Don't worry on easy you will only be using the first 3 buttons..green red and yellow. Work on matching up your strumming with the colors. This is also a great time to learn that you can hold down a color (lets say green) and just strum if a line of green notes come at you, instead of you lifting up the green just because they aren't there. ONLY STRUM WHEN THE NOTE IS THERE, OR YOU WILL LOSE "ROCK".

    -MEDIUM-

Oh shit, its time to use your pinky. Yes, in medium introduces the blue button. Stretch your pinky out, and DON'T get used to sliding your hand down to hit the blue..save that for when you need to hit orange. :)

    -Hammer-Ons and Pull-Offs-

Hammer ons and pull off's are pretty simple. Lets say you are holding down the green button and a yellow note, and then a green, and then a yellow note are all comming to you in a really fast way. Strum for the green, then just hit the yellow button, following with the green again, etc. Basically you don't have to strum for the other notes if they come up really fast, and in the same order as normal.

    -HARD-

All I really have to say for hard is..PRACTICE. Keep on practicing...make sure you can do HO/PO's..and practice. Your almost to the fun difficulty of the game..EXPERT. Oh..did I mention you get to use the ORANGE BUTTON?

    -EXPERT-

On expert, the songs get noticably harder...but once you beat them they will never get any harder. On expert..you get to use the orange button alot more, and alot of the songs patterns are harder. You will also notice alot more hand shifting, but get used to it. Eventually..you will have beaten the game..and you will be an official "GUITAR HERO" like..

I took apart yellow highlighers and put them in a bottle half full of water. It glows under my black light, which is right behind my head to the right.
