Project Genesis: A Glimpse Into the Future of Botting

I find it kind of funny that people are sketching out simply because RID has changed the ETA a few times. The guy's reputation with all his previous bots speaks for itself. The man is a legend.

Has Jagex made any form of response to what's going on?

Has Jacmob said anything about Genesis?

Because I mean truly, this is the end of Jagex attempting to stop bots if Genesis lives up to expectations.

 

Jagex has not said anything about Genesis, and neither has Jacmob.

 

Do you think this is a good sign then?

 

it doesn't mean anything tbh. they can't say anything about it until it actually comes out since no one really knows how it works yet.

 

Wonder if they'll make any official statements on botting in the near future like they have in the past lol I seem to remember them saying something about... ffs what was it... I remember RID boasting how a certain quote was taken off the site when they became away of RID and how it's virtually undetectable.

 

Well, Jagex is never going to specifically mention the name of a bot (with the exception of the long-gone NeXus bots, and also Powerbot & EpicBot when Mark Gerhard stated they intended to take legal action). So it's not really a sign of anything.

If they give any statements, they'll be talking about bots in general, and they won't specifically mention names. Although, they may lie and say they've detected all bots like they did in the years past (yet no bans appeared at all for over a year after they said that; why not ban if you can detect them, right?).

And RiD will also be removing the Free User rank, as Genesis will be completely premium outside of the free trial. He will also be making some changes to the forums and ranks to make things a bit simpler.

 

How exciting! Cant wait to see a demo video! Man, all I want to do is to be able to safely bot gilded alters.

What's the most recent ETA?

 

Currently there is no specific ETA, but there has been a recent photo of the bot making process in the GUI that was leaked. Unfortunately for you guys that picture is staying in the private Veteran lounge.

Alas, the only thing left before bots are actually being made with it is finalizing the GUI
