Why did price of GP just rise?

Pretty bummed, it was like 10% cheaper this time last week. Do you think this is because of legacy? Should I wait before buying gold, I mean do you guys think it will go back down any time soon? :|

 

EoC or 07?

07 Stayed around $2-$2.4 for a very long time, EoC stayed between $.22 and $.28 for a long time.

Recently, bulk buyers have been offering up to $3.3 for 07 and $.42 for EoC, but even that has been trending upward for a few weeks.

 

there are plenty of reasons, it can be alot of people who are getting banned. since they've anounced legacy on the releasing date alot of people though this might be a great footage to play runescape again, which means more people wanted to buy rs3 and less people are willing to sell 'unless' the prices will go higher. if there are 10 goldbuyers offering the same price eventually you'll have to offer more to get more offers then all these goldbuyers who are offering the same since it's not that easy to obtain rs3 as of right now. with 07 during the last couple of weeks it was harder to get 07 aswell, i might be wrong on this one but alot of bot farmers got banned lately and last alot of gp in the game that got vanished while there are alot of people are willing to buy gp and if nobody can get it, both price in rs3/07 with buy/selling will raise up until there's steady supplies on both sides

Legacy for Rs3. For 07, I think feelgewd is right, a lot of goldfarmers are getting banned, therefore decreasing supply, which increases the price.

 

GP at some point always decreases in price. I would wait if you don't need it now.

 

Fair enough, do you guys think the release of that new bot (Genesis or something?) will drive it back down a bit?

 

Genesis isn't a very good platform when it comes to goldfarming, so my guess would be no.

 

I'm guessing mainly due to the legacy update.
