Starting Back... Have some Questions.

I have no idea what all the new items are. I quit in 2012.

I have armadyl top/bottom, bandos tassets with fighter torso & fury, chaotic longsword, and 10M cash.

I might be leaving some stuff out, I'm not on right now to check. I'm worth around 58M.

What should I get with that money and these stats (below)?

 

fighter torso is dead, useless now.
Depends what you want to do on your account, but I suggest slayer with your cls, and bandos because that's still a good setup. If you have the dung tokens for perhaps a bonecrusher, charming imp, bird skull necklace or something of the sort, or an off-hand cls that'd certainly have slayer/melee sorted.

Otherwise ranging frost dragons would be very very profitable (~3m/hr) if you wanted to do that

 

I do have 99 Ranged. What's the preferred setup for them?

 

Do Slayer man, PvM is probably the best part of Runescape 3.

Judging by your level, you've done it moderately but not a lot, I think Slayer would be the perfect way to ease back into the game and get re-acclimated to the game.

Bandos is perfect for Slayer. I got all the way up to 94 with using just Bandos then finally made the switch to Torva ( I was 75 def the longest time).

Your net worth is solid, you can do a good amount of different things, but yeah, I'd recommend slayer - good fun and decent gp gains.

Edit: Also, your woodcutting and fishing are fantastic, since bots are mostly destroyed in Rs3, you can make great money fishing and woodcutting.

 

Alright, thanks Would you prefer legacy mode or not?

 

Try out the different styles and see what you like best. I find that revolution mode caters best to my tastes. Revolution mode automatically fires your basic abilities and eliminates the button mashing aspect of Full Manual EoC.

You get worse DPS doing legacy mode and your hourly xp gains dip slightly, but legacy mode is definitely chill and relaxing. Revolution is pretty chill though too I must say, and you don't have to click much to use your ultimate abilities.

Oh, and I see you're 88 dungeoneering. You could easily make 3-4m / hour doing frost dragons.

Your account is perfect for making any extra GP you need. Really just up to you to decide what you want to do next .

 

Is Armadyl still good ranging armor? I have no idea what to use anymore, haha.

 

Legacy mode is so bad imo.

 

Get bandos, and a rapier, go gwds and make some $$, its what I did! Try and get your prayer up though, thats definitly a must.

 

I suggest you get an off-hand chaotic weapon (100k tokens), which should take you no more than 4 hours to do with your current level.
Then take that bandos those dual chaotics over to the frost dragon lair.
Achieving a 90 combat stat goal using this method will surly yield over 50m in revenue for yourself.
From there it depends on you. Just thought you could use the money to afford some of the new weapons (such as tier 90 drygores).

EDIT: just noticed you can't use super anti fires, which are a necessity when using dual weapons.
You could still do this with a DFS, but will receive significantly less exp and money.
GWD is a viable option for someone with your stats, however I encourage you to get used to the new combat system before attempting anything.
