Big Bone Scam

Can you get banned for doing the big bone/dragon bone switch out scam? I assume so but don't know what proof Jagex has due to it just being a trade interaction.

 

The price change would show anyone the diff, and also when they report you it takes a series of photos along with the report.

 

I don't know when the last time I've known someone to get banned for item scamming, I doubt it's a priority.

No you can not, all you need to say is that you made a mistake and withdraw the wrong bones from the bank or something like that.

 

Yeah I highly doubt this is a bannable offence lmao, I am pretty sure Jagex cares a lot more about more serious things like botting and rwt like Membership said.

 

You could definitely report them, they probably wouldn't get banned however unless they are using some type of autotyper, macro, or bot to spam message and switch out the items really fast.

actually now that i think about it someone that is super tired/drunk or whatever. i almost got scammed with iron ore/coal switching lmao

 

I doubt anyone would fall for it, and Jagex, for all purposes, NEVER review reports, much less would take the time to discern that someone was a victim of an item switch scam.

 

There are a couple of kids who I know would fall for it

 

Highly doubtful to be banned because of item scamming imo.
