Blades 350z progress thread

Lol! In no world is your car EVER faster than my useless suv. Bone stock, it ate 370z's for breakfast lunch and dinner. As it stands currently with mods, it annihilates the new c7 vette down the track. And I can still load my wife, daughter, tent and camping gear in it and go have a nice weekend, while still being faster. And (here's a surprise for you) this particular suv will out perform the Nissan in the curves, too.

Spend it on my z

Rip every point you think you have.

 

Does it have Halogen or Xenon headlights, if it's Halogen you may as well upgrade them with a HID kit.

 

not sure how relevant this is but I've driven a srt8 jeep and honestly it would eat a 350z. A brand new jeep srt8 is around $65k a new 370z starts at $38k. If you upgrade your 370z to an equivalent price point it will probably beat the jeep since you can get to around 500+ whp with a twin turbo but even then controlling the 370z with that much power will be even more challenging during a race compared to a jeep which is already designed to reach that point of performance. On bends I'm pretty sure the 350z will beat a jeep but the jeep will easily catch up to you. I'll try getting a picture of my friends 350z, he sold it a few months back but it was amazing, had around 12k in mods done to it.

 

I don't know man, I've driven both and you're definitely underestimating the thing. Now I'm not saying I don't love the 350/370z's, I was looking to buy one after I picked up my wrangler. They make phenomenal platforms to build off of...I just had an issue with your comment about them being totally useless, its practical and faster than most things on the road...but I'm done beating a dead horse.

Back on topic for the sake of your thread...you said you're trading for another "even better" one?? May I ask why you're dumping more money into the one you currently own if that's the route you're going?

I can't think of anything besides off-road where the jeep could accel to catch a 370, and if you build a 370 to offload (why) you could probably still win there. But as we know, it's all driver anyway except for drag/line races.

Is this Auto or Manual? I read recently that alot of cars in the states are Automatics. In the UK Auto drivers are mocked (normally because they're too dumb to drive a manual). I prefer driving a Manual.
