Cleaned at the duel arena... AGAIN

Am I alone? Anyone else out there gotten up to a 50-100M bank numberous times to only go "all in" a few times at the duel arena and lose it all? I realize I have a problem with gambling on RuneScape but no matter how far I go, the greed always takes over.


Has anybody gone through this? I feel like I could make 20B and still stake it all away because it seems like I always want more!

Had the same problem in the past.
I just quit gambling all together, as I started to see it as something bad.

 

Don't go all in, stake small amounts and quit while you're ahead.
Most of the time if you all in you'll end up losing your money.

 

You have to immediately invest your gains into other things to avoid feelin like a pro staker

 

That's the difference between stakers who make loads of bank and stakers who don't, there is a 50% chance of winning so if you carry on going you are guaranteed to loose at one point.

If you are lucky enough to make a lot of money then keep it! One day you will win 100 mil the next day you will loose it - it's too inconsistent to expect to gain a huge bank.

 

Ouch. Can't say I've ever had the issue at duel arena...my issue was Dicing. I'd ride a wave of 50m wins, and then bet 800m+ every single time. Lol.

 

Whenever I win, I invest, so If I won a 50m, I'd buy a DFS then use the rest on cosmetics or supplies.

 

Hard addicition tbh, I used to gamble and think I'd win but Id get cleaned =/, Sucks but luck is not favoring us

 

Everyone should take into account that there's always a chance of losing your items/money when gambling in any way.

I used to get like this but then I realised a few things.

 

This happened to me every day for like ~2 months, but with 5-10m back in the flower days

 

Yeah.. I've gone in a lot of times luckily a lot of those times I won too though lol

 

Yup, whenever ur down u will feel to urge to gamble more to recoup ur losses and the vicious cycle continues. Take out a certain amount and if u lose it all just quit. Its easier said then done cuz u always say what if I take out more. All you need is sheer perseverance to quite and self belief and u can definitely do it. All the best

 

Bro you just need to know when to stop, which is something I myself don't know, I built upto 700m 07 once, and i kept going, and in the end i lost everything. All about perseverance/not caring much about your losses (which almost nobody can do :/)

 

Yeah I have gotten up to as high as like 200m from scratch staking and I still have still been cleaned afterwords lmao.

 

I wonder RIF the people to are playing 50m+ are highly trained at winning / techniques. That could be part of it.

 

You can either risk it all or be smart and stake within your means as a career. The latter is boring, but safe.

just happened to me aha got up to 400m then down 2 10m o well
