Moon landing!fake or not?

nah there were many posts about it on facebook on July 20th so i was wondering whats the truth

 

The original moon landing was sort of iffy for me because the flag looked as though it were blowing in the wind. There is no wind in space. We were also in the height of the space race, I wouldnt put it past the US to cheat a little to beat the commies.

We have certainly been there though.

I always thought it was fake but It is just too hard to know honestly.

 

I remember reading from multiple sources that the reason the flag looked like it was waving, was because it was accidentally wrinkled that way during the voyage. It ended up working out better anyway, since a straight flag would've looked stupid

 

In 50 years of scientific progress, if the moon landing had been faked, evidence showing so would be absolutely overwhelming. Occam's Razor suggests that it's more likely that the moon landing actually occurred than an incredibly elaborate cover up and hoax.

 

There's a rod running along the top of the flag sort of like a curtain. When they first planted the flag and unrolled it they pushed on the middle of the flag making an impression which is why it looks as if it was flapping in the wind.

 

That logics a bit dumb. If they were going to go through some elaborate ruse to fake the moon-landing why the fuck would they do it where its windy.

 

The flag, which appeared to have been flapping in the wind, was flapping because the astronaut had touched it. As there's little to no atmosphere on the surface of the moon and 1/6th the gravity, objects in motion will stay in motion longer than we're used to on Earth. The movement from the astronaut touching the pole caused the movement in the flag, which is a light material. That, coupled with no air resistance and small gravity, made it flap around more than we'd expect it to from Earthly experiences

There's a mythbusters episode on it, and they bring up pretty good proof for their belief that the moon landing wasn't staged

 

I doubt it was faked, it's doable.
