Working Guide on how NOT to get your MSN frozen

Ok, I use the messenger Trillian (im sure some of you have heard of it) For those of you who havent, Trillian is a combination of MSN, Yahoo, AIM, IRC, and Skype all in one massive MSN. Many scammers add me, and when they fail to scam me they "freeze" my MSN. However, it has come to my attention that the "Freeze" does not work while im using Trillian, however it does work then I am using just normal MSN. For those who dont have Trillian here is how you get it, and how you use it. I recommend to all to use it, not only is it just like MSN but it has alot of cool capabilities that normal MSN doesnt have (A.K.A. log onto more than one MSN account a time, or be on MSN Yahoo Aim and more all at the same
time)

Ok, for this one, I will explain the diferent things I have highlighted. The first one, "connected" just shows that you are connected, click it do disconnect or reconnect at anytime. The Orb highlighted in green shows your MSN info. (or yahoo and AIM and such) By clicking it you can change your Screen name, message me, or send/check your email address. The next section is contacts, click here to add a contact, you can also create your own usergroups here as well, so you can categorize people.

To message people it is simply like MSN, click their name, you can block and everything as well. If you have any questions please pm me, I hope that I have helped.

 

freezing can work while on that too all they have to do is massively try to log into your msn with a wrong pass and your account gets frozen

 

I dont think so, people have said they tried and tried to freeze my MSN, then they get mad because it didnt work, cuss at me and block me.

Yes it is safe, its as safe as downloading MSN

 

It's what I use for my public MSN account.

So far ~10 people have tried to freeze me.

 

Hehe, i got a sticky, thats exciting! but yea, ive had about 4-5 people try freezing me. Also they cant delete your Net Passport either, doesnt work. :-/

So your theory is only correct for the normal MSN Freezing Programs, Sorry.

 

Duff, what exactly do you think BAM's script does?..

 

I have trillian pro 3.1, it is ownage with the built in irc.

 

I think it tries to log into your msn a constant amount of times which this stopps you from logging in.Thats what i think it does.

Its just when you are logged on this you cannot get frozen apparently, i havent tried it myself but a lot of people have so

Trillian is safe and good, i only use that as it is more immune to SB attacks than MSN (people generally concentrate on looking into MSN client weakness than other third party programs).

Neveretheless, it cannot have a single effect on the freezing you might have if someone does the multi login attack, Passport will simply locks you.

The question : why does passport locks you if someone tries many logins on your account ?

The reason is for your own safety, locking you out for these 15 or so minutes destroys any brute force password cracking dreams (which is technically the only method that gives a 100% chances to get someone else password).

 

Thanks for the +Rep and stuff. This guide does work, but mainly if you have not already been frozen. This is to PREVENT you from being unfrozen, i don not belive it will unfreeze you. I think that the scripts used to freeze are only compatible with MSN and not the Trillian program since it is alot diferent. Also, people have deleted my Net Passport and frozen it, only for it to be unfrozen/locked about 2 minutes later. Im glad this works
