    Disputing a ban

I would like to suggest this idea of Sythe members who are unable to trace down the scamming victim for a repayment to contribute the amount in to Sythe donations. Not only would this benefit this forum but it would make the person who has scammed less likely to scam in the future, cheers:love:

Pretty sure that is its ultimate fate should the user be unable to be tracked down already.
The money is handed over to staff to hold in these instances.

I read this 15 times over and still don't understand what you mean.

Do you mean the site reimburses the victim with donation credit? (The site doesn't benefit from this btw)

Or users who are unable to contact the scammer to receive the payment get the equivalent to the scam amount?

I think he means that if a person scams someone and later pardons, but is unable to contact the victim, instead of paying the victim, they donate that amount to sythe.org instead

Yes this is what he means.

I don't support the idea though, what if the guy comes back? Then it's sythe's problem to pay them. I doubt this will happen.

No what I mean is where the scammer has disputed their ban, in some instances they claim to have contacted users where they have not been able to get hold of them to re-pay them. So they should be given a option to pay the amount that they have scammed to Sythe, which then goes towards donations.

In a case like that, wouldn't the money be given to a staff member to hold for that user?

If the user has been inactive for a very long time, I guess it could be put towards their donation credit. But what if that user comes back and doesn't want the donation credit and they want what they were scammed for? Then what happens?
