How often do you get a haircut?

I've had one haircut since 2007, which was in 2010.

Ok buddy fading, lining up, and trimming actually takes some degree of skill a proper fade and lining up so both your sides are parallel is not easy man trust.

If your going to just buzz cut your hair all the time then yeah do it at home...

 

I usually get a haircut once every two weeks.

 

Once a month, can't imagine myself after 7months without a haircut.

 

I have given myself a decent fade but only pulled that feat off once. The time I tried to duplicate the results I ended up with a bald spot and #1 buzz. I also used to cut my own hair with scissors, I always wore it messy and it actually looked good. With some practice you will surprise yourself with how good and quick you get. You certainly get a few bad haircuts in the learning process.

Now I can shave my head FASTER and just as good as any pro. Granted pros probably draw out buzzcuts so they seem like they did more work than they did. Most anyone will feel fucked paying 10-20 usd for a haircut that took five minutes, they certainly wouldnt feel too inclined to tip.

As far as lining things up perfectly, no one said you can do that solo. Hell I made a point of saying I have my gf edge up my neck for that reason. Its hard, especially on the back of your own head!

Just out of curiosity where are you talking about and what is expensive?

A haircut at your normal chain haircut shop is $10-20 generally stateside. More at salons and small shops. Now I think thats expensive but I've been wearing a buzz for a couple years! Considering thats a base cost its pretty cheap for other hair styles.

TIL I have some interest in the cost of haircuts by locale.

 

About the cheapest cut you'll get here is $26 or so, which isn't expensive, but I still don't wanna blow that every other week. So I get mine cut every month or so.

 

From le phone so please forgive. Once a year probably is my hair cutting time. Been about 6 months so far.

 

Usually every 2-4 months, I have Korean-type (sort of) hair so I don't need to get a haircut as often as it's generally longer, so it usually depends on how helmet looking it starts to become after it grows too long xD

 

I get my haircut every Saturday...$20 bucks a cut. Skin fade, my military background doesn't help my obsessive need to have a tidy head or anything lol.

I get mine cut maybe once a month or so. I'd probably go more often if I could find one I'm comfortable with that isn't too far. English isn't their strongest point here so not a lot of talking going on since that's my preferred language. I prefer chatty barbers. I'd probably soon enough do it my own anyway.

 

About 2 months, don't like when they are too long..

 

Usually once every 2 to 3 months since I shave it pretty short and just let it grow for those months. But 3 months is pretty much my limit. Basically I get it cut every time I travel home for a school break.
